My apologies to all of the Heather fans. If you can't find her, it's because I HAD to kidnap her after she gave me my most favorite haircut EVER. I was a little nervous about getting my hair cut for the first time since moving here from out of state a few months ago - I'd been with my previous stylist for 15 years because things were great with him - but Heather not only put me at ease (she's just great - warm, enthusiastic, understanding, patient) she SLAYED the cut. The entire team there is just wonderful, all so friendly and warm. I have more than a moment's peace knowing my hair is in such great hands. Kudos!

A moment's peace has always offered the most stellar spa experience. Loretta is a top notch aesthetician with expert knowledge, delicate manner, friendly personality, and exceptional talent. I cannot recommend Loretta/A Moment's Peace enough. Each time I've referred someone or gifted an experience the individual(s) have been equally thrilled with the experience.

I've had the same hair stylist for the last 10 years and when she switched professions, I was terrified at the thought of trying to find a new one. I was quite hesitant when my boyfriend told me he had scheduled me with his mother's stylist (he knew my indecisiveness would have drawn this process out unbearably), but my search was leading me nowhere so decided to give it a shot.
I was scheduled with Tina Wooten for a cut and color/highlights. To say she surpassed my expectations is an understatement! Everything about the experience was top notch and I couldn't be happier! Everyone I encountered greeted me with a smile. Tina was so kind and felt more like a friend I was catching up with than someone I just met and had to endure casual uninteresting conversation with for 2 hours (I think I dreaded this as much as the possible hair botching I might receive).
After explaining vaguely what I thought I wanted (I'm really the worst at this!) she made a few suggestions, we went with it and the results are fantastic! I know I've found the place I will be going for a long time to come!

I really felt like I clicked with Christina Ware the stylist that my appointment was with to color and cut my hair. When I made my appointment I was VERY specific in letting them know I had ALOT of hair even though it was short ( below ears) and previous stylist took 2+ hours to do foils and trim. I came in with photos of how I liked my hair to look when lightened ( my previous stylist has retired) so she would a frame of reference.
I asked on phone a price and receptionist said she did not know ( what kind of business is that?) so I got price list offline to have an idea. I enjoyed meeting Christina BUT I don't know what happened, after she took my foils out she said she had two clients that were booked in 15 min and she wouldn't be able to finish me, that she felt bad and she would look in the books to see if she could do me later or if another stylist could.
I felt so uncomfortable, like it was my fault the appointment time was mis booked, I did apologize. She came back after 15 min and said she was booked the next 2 weeks but another stylist Stacey ( who cuts her hair) could finish me. I WISH I HAD JUST LEFT. my hair is wayyyy shorter than I asked for, nothing like the photo I showed Stacey, I was charged for a GLAZE that no one asked me if I wanted!
I work in a profession where I sell things to people but not in an underhanded way. Always upfront and I always Ask if they want what I'm offering, you don't just do it and then sneak it onto their bill! Would you want your dentist or car mechanic doing this to you?

Friendly service from the moment we walked through the door. It was my Girlfriends birthday and she hadn't had a real haircut in almost 2 years. The way she was treated and the way she looked afterwards were top notch. The biggest smile on her face hasn't left from the moment we walked out the door there. Thank you Elle! It was a great visit, will for sure be back!

Don't go here unless you want to pay high $ for low quality. My hair was ABSOLUTELY FRIED and looked nothing like the picture. I even shared the picture again with the stylist after coming back to fix what she didn't have time to fix when I as there because they were closing. So I went back because I paid over $300 for this which they never tell you a price up front and don't share anything about price until the very end after all is complete.
After coming back a second time just to get a little face framing like the picture and this is what I left with. I cover my hair every day because it looks so bad. She did thick chunky highlights which are HORRIBLE! I look like I went to Walmart to have my hair done. My picture as I'm sure you guessed is the one on the right and the picture on the left is what I showed the stylist. The picture speaks for itself. I would never recommend this place.

First, I want to say that the stylist did a great job on my daughter's hair. My issue is not with the service we received. I scheduled the appointment online and the website has a price by the service package. Nowhere does it say that this is the "base" price. When I picked my daughter up, the bill was $210 before tip, NOT $145 as the website said.
That's a 45% increase. If you look at the pic of the receipt, you can see the $145 marked out and the new price below. I was told the site lists the base price, and they stylist's price was $100-highlights and $65-cut. This would have been fine as well; however, the stylist did a glaze that was $45. No one asked me. They just added a $45 service onto my 13 year old child without my permission.
I don't mind paying for a service when I know what I'm expected to pay. It is unethical and deceptive to change the pricing and add services without the knowledge of the person responsible for the payment.

I recently treated my father and myself to pedicures at A Moments Peace Salon & Day Spa. The service absolutely exceeded our expectations! They paid great attention to detail and used a assortment of products. They made sure we were totally comfortable and offered to heat up or cool down our water several times. This is not your typical pedicure that you would receive at an average nail salon - it's much more than that! We highly recommend you check them out!

I had a 90 minute massage with Martha. She was absolutely fantastic. I usually get 2 massages a year and since Woodhouse in Franklin closed, this was my first time at AMP. WOW. She was fantastic. It was quiet, dimly lit, and she was so incredibly peaceful. Massage therapists are so intuitive and Martha was no exception! Best massage of my life and I will be back to see her
