I was super worried because in the past I've had stylists that didn't know how to handle curly hair. Orsi did an amazing job and my hair looks amazing

Bethany is the best stylist and colorist I've been to in years! Kim at reception is super accommodating as well. They do everything the right way at this fantastic salon.

Bethany did a fantastic job on my hair! My highlights turned out beautiful and she trimmed my hair without chopping off length, like most stylists I have seen in the past. Exactly what I wanted!

Kerry is a great stylist! She corrected and improved my highlights lowlights combo that a different salon had done a poor job on. Kerry takes the time to listen and then delivers amazing hair!

Just finished writing a 1 star review for Hudson Salon, to come write a 5 star review for Accent. After having a last minute cancelation on Hudson's behalf, I drove to Accent in dire need of a haircut because I had senior pictures in about 2 hours at the time. Even though it was 3:15 and they closed at 4 and the stylists were all booked until then, the owner herself offered to stay later for me because she understood the anger and stress I was in because of Hudson, and that I really needed a haircut.

While it was an amazing haircut and looked stunning, I am most happy with the customer service and the fact that Lydia was willing to stay later than operating hours just for me. From now on I will never attend Hudson again and do not recommend it to anyone, and instead will go to Accent. Not only is customer service 10x better, their prices are a whole lot more reasonable. Thank you Lydia for saving me!

I have been coming here since Lydia opened Accent about 15 years ago. I trust her implicitly with my hair. She always knows what will work best with my hair type/face shape/complexion and talks through my ideas with me until we find a solution that would best suit me. She's not going to give you a haircut you point out in a magazine without explaining to you what it would look like pre-styling with your hair type (saved me from many terrible cuts over the years with this skill!). Lydia is also a fantastic artist with dye.

I've gotten both regular overall color and fashion colors from her and they've been amazing. Accent Hair Design has a clean, professional, and relaxing atmosphere. Over time I've seen other stylists too and they've all been lovely. Orsi is amazing at eyebrow waxing too! Definitely recommend trying out this salon!

Can't say the cut was bad either time I went. I just left with A LOT less hair than I intended on. Last trip I specifically showed her how i wear the side of my hair pushed back over my ear, and where to cut side burn back to. Now my hair is so short it will only lay flat facing down, not enough to even push back. Side burns, I have one that wasn't cut and is straight and the other comes down to a point. If the manager couldn't see I wasn't happy, she should've by the look on my face, even behind a mask. Walked right by without asking. Will try somewhere else next time.

It had been a while since I had my haircut and really enjoyed my experience with Orsi. She made the experience relaxing and fun. I left feeling satisfied with my new haircut and really appreciated the prices. It's affordable, so I was able to leave with two new products that she recommended. Will definitely be back!

I absolutely love Accent Hair Design! I have had my hair cut and colored by Bethany for 3 years now, and the only reason I'm leaving is because I'm moving to a different state. Bethany is amazing at cutting, coloring, and styling hair. Anything I've asked her for, she does with ease, and will be honest about what she thinks will work for your hair. She is also the sweetest person! It's going to be very challenging finding someone to fill her shoes.

I am new to the area and had tried a few places for a cut and color but had been unable to find someone who could do both well. After 10 months of not getting a hair cut and coloring my hair myself due to COVID I needed professional help. I called around and found Accent Hair Design and made an appointment for yesterday with Paula. She gave me one of the best haircuts and coloring I have ever had.

We had originally considered stripping out the box color first but after seeing me in person she said the stripping was not necessary which was a big cost saving for me. I am definitely going back and will be a regular customer.

I have used this salon several times now. The overall salon is always clean, always friendly, and makes you feel at home. I have seen two stylists here and they have both done great jobs. Marie was the first since my moving to North Carolina that understood long, thick hair. She has a great personality and is able to determine exactly what you are looking for during your appointment with the simplest of conversations.

While I regret to write this review as it may make it harder for me to schedule an appointment if she is busier, I had to ensure everyone knows how exceptional she is at her job.
