Hi there. What was supposed to be a relaxing spa day turned into a nightmare when the front receptionist refused to allow me to use my $250 gift card for my entire spa services cost. They said their "system" charged me a $90 deposit on my Visa card when I booked my appointment online, and they couldn't refund that $90 so I could use my entire gift card. Goodness, what a scam.

How can you not refund a "booking deposit" back to a Visa card so someone can use a gift card? What kind of business runs like this? So this essentially forces me to come back since I still have money on my gift card. I mean that is a very very very shady way to do business, and I would most definitely stay away. I would be happy if the owner contacted me and we could work this out, but no one working there seemed to care and quite frankly, seemed very confused that I was upset with the situation.

Hey thanks for ruining my spa day by the way. Why would I ever want to come back now? I know. I know. First world problems, but if I have a gift card for your business, it should be allowed that I use it for the entire amount of my purchase. Not some arbitrary rules that are nowhere to be found online when booking. If I could have entered the gift card info when reserving my appointment, I would have, but I wasn't given that option. Signed mom of 2 tiny toddlers that never ever gets time alone to enjoy. Thanks for reading.

I went to see Christian Iwanicki for acupuncture, have had some nerve issues in my right arm for years now. After 4-5 treatments my arm is almost back to 100%. I've always been skeptical of acupuncture (mainly because I loathe needles), but she is very skilled and made me feel comfortable, and it actually worked! Thank you!

This place is awesome. My daughter and u are both in wheelchairs and they do everything to make sure we get the services that we want. They make extra time for us because being in a wheelchair isn't easy. Hannah Castle is an amazing hair stylist and even better friend. She and Aqua Bella are worth the prices.

Short story= no communication between desk and stylist, they over-charge, if you're a new customer be prepared to be treated as less important Long story= I've been to this salon twice now. The first time, I added the 10min scalp massage when I booked the appointment. The stylist, Blake, had no idea I had booked that with my haircut but she was able to make it work. 100% would not recommend.

It wasn't 10 minutes and it wasn't a massage, just a prolonged shampoo. I felt bad that she was so busy and she was super friendly. I knew it was because of new staff up front so the fault was not hers. I booked a 2nd appointment a week later to get my hair colored with a toner. It was suggested by her and it seemed like it would satisfy my desire for a bit of color added to my hair.

I arrived for my 2nd appointment and she seemed rushed. She took me to the chair to get my hair wet. She quickly added the color and had me sit there with my head in the sink for approx five minutes. She came back, checked it, and said it would be a minute or so more. She rushed off and started working with a different client (cut and style). There was no TV and not knowing I'd be in that position for another 7 or so minutes, I had nothing better to do than watch the time and lay there.

She came back, washed the product from my hair, and brought me to her chair. She blow dried my hair and I was done. I went to pay and was surprised the total was $40.00 more than what I was quoted. I asked why and they told me it was for the shampoo and style. I was confused and didn't want to make a scene and ask mote questions so I paid and left.

After thinking more about it, I realized they 100% over charged me since I didn't get my hair "styled" and I had washed my hair before my appointment so I'm sure she didn't shampoo mine. I called to tell them about my concern and they said they'd call me back. It was in the afternoon so I had no problem waiting for a call back since they probably had to talk with the hair dresser and confirm what service I had received.

No call back. I called a little before closing and was told the person I had talked to on the phone earlier was gone and so was the stylist. They promised to call me the next day. They didn't call me the next day, I had to. In the end, because she had dried my hair (Maybe 5 to 10min max) I was charged the $40.00. The stylist took time from her day to dry my hair so the best they could do was take $25.00 off my bill.

That's well and good, but I am still very upset that I'm paying anything for a service I didn't ask for or receive. $40.00 for dry hair is a little steep. I was asked if I had asked Blake to not dry my hair. I mentioned my confusion because I thought she was drying my hair to make sure the color was good. I had no idea she was charging me $40.00 for what I had perceived as something that came along with the service. Basically, the work is good.

No complaints about that. My huge complaint is being charged without my knowledge. For putting the blame on me. For making me feel as though I was intruding on the stylists time to dry my hair. For being an after-thought while she worked on her mother-in-law's hair (yeah, that's the person she was taking care of while my head was in a sink). Just, be aware that everything comes at a price.no matter how you book your appointment.

I am happy they agreed to give me 25.00 off, but I feel like this would not have happened if I hadn't taken the initiative and called them twice. Update= they did refund me and left the amount I had originally tipped. Rating reflects this. I am very grateful.

Having gotten haircuts in so many places around the country, I have finally found the place I can confidently rate as the bottom of the pile! Not only were they late by 15 minutes to begin my appointment, the whole ordeal took all of 10 minutes to finish . PS: don't expect them to apologize for Anything! Becomes relevant even later in the story. Typically I am asked on how I want my hair styled, in front of a mirror, before we get started.

But the deal here was they directly rushed me to the hair wash station, ripped off my hair band without notice (ouch), and rummage through my scalp in the name of a massage. As for the haircut itself, it was interesting that I have seen even some dog groomers do a more caring job then how they handled my hair. And don't be surprised if you are banged on your head a few times with the blow drier. guess it's all part of the experience here. I highly doubt I'll give them another chance!

When I called for the appointment they assured me the stylist was experienced. Although she was very nice, she seemed to lack some of the entry level skills, the picture shows the botched cut. She cut in a layer that looked like a shelf, when I mentioned it, she started hacking at my hair with a razor, which should never be used on fine or hair that isn't wet under any circumstances. Called to inform them, manager seemed disinterested.

I have since communicated with the owner through messenger. She wrote " I'm sorry you don't like your haircut". Well, seriously who would like this. I didn't ask for this style, but the issue is that this is hacked to the point of having bare spots, and is just a bad cut. Her solution was to have another of her stylists " go through it". I have since really looked through photos of work done by others in this salon, and even the better cuts were really not technically good.

So I wrote her asking for a refund and possibly a bit more for the added costs of a few haircuts down the road to make this wearable. Unfortunately nothing can be done now because the hacks go really far up into the hair shaft. So now I have to wear a baseball cap for 6 months. She has not responded nor taken any sort of responsibility for this. One would expect that a salon owner would be aware of the capabilities of her employees.

In this instance I would think at least some effort on her part should be made, to resolve the situation, rather than ignoring it. Again, this is not a matter of just not liking the haircut, it is not anywhere near acceptable, shows no evidence of any skill on the part of the stylist, and I would expect the salon owner to be more responsible and step up and show some accountability I have just taken, and added the pictures on the 7th day after the cut, I am more horrified than I was initially.

I truly had no idea that it was this bad. In the light you can see most of the hacks. I'm literally beside myself, still no response from owner. The photos, for some reason do not appear here but can be viewed in google maps review page

This was my first time visiting this salon/spa. Upon entering it looked very nice and welcoming but that soon changed. I had scheduled a 50 min friendship massage with a friend from out of town. We were at our appointment before our scheduled time which was 1230. At 1244 (not being held up by anything we had done) I entered a room with two massage tables and assumed my friend would be joining me since this was a friendship couples massage.

The massage therapist entered and began the session and I asked where my friend was and she said Oh I apologize did you guys want to be in the same room? I said yes we scheduled a couples/friendship massage. She continued the massage without addressing the situation. I asked her to go get my friend. She stated she would "try". She came back with my friend's massage therapist who said "If I bring her in here it will cut even further into your time and I need you off this table by 120 as we have other appointments." I said no that is fine I want her to get her full massage. Wait, Its 1244 (I looked at the clock) and you need me off the table by 1:20?

That is a 36 min massage not a 50 min. I felt very disposable as we were made to feel that our sessions needed to be cut short to ensure that the next appointments would not be. I was a paying customer as well and this was just unacceptable and hurtful. After speaking with the front desk manager we were offered $15.00 off our massage. But that would still have us overpaying for a 36 minute massage we received. So, we spoke with both the front desk manager and the owner and was allowed to only pay for the 30 minute massage we received. This was very disappointing. I was hoping to find a massage home. but this wasn't it.

I've had both hair and spa services at Aqua Bella, and they have all been top notch! Katie Ann has been working on my hair for a couple of years now and she always does the best job. I've seen Christy for massages and Kelsey for facials and I'm always very satisfied when I leave! I try to send all of my friends and family here, so I highly recommend them!

Ashlee is the best stylist around! I always leave feeling fabulous. Katie does fantastic mani/pedis - she pays so much attention to detail and makes sure my nails are perfect! I love the atmosphere at Aqua Bella. I even take my 4 year old twins for their haircuts, because I know it will be a pleasant experience for them and not scary like some studios can be for small children.

I have had a very hard time finding a place to go get a haircut since I moved to Nashville. Aqua Bella has very reasonable priced for cuts $28 but if you want a blow dry you'll pay an additional $20! Heather is great, I will definitely be going back!

After a personal consultation with Heather I knew I'd found my new salon! I have been very impressed of the quality of products used and professionalism of everyone at Aqua Bella. Heather is phenomenal. She also helped me find the best all natural skin care, Eminence, that they sell there. Hair and skin are fully taken care of there!
