Did not get what I asked for. no blond at all no dimension at all. very disappointed for the price I had to pay for not much change In my hair.

Jess gives a personalized service every time. She cares about her work and how you feel in your "do". Jess cares about your split ends, how color reacts to your hair type, and carries salon quality natural hair products that work!

You've been warned. I sent a few pics and asked her to do what my hair has been recently. Our text conversation says it all. I asked for a straight haircut it's uneven. Paid $350 then another $300 to have someone else fix it after giving Gina 2 chances. She refunded me $110. Absolutely ridiculous. She stopped responding after I showed her how it was fixed. Took 6 hours of her butchering my hair and another 3.5 for someone else to fix. If she doesn't know how to do something she should say.

This is a fabulous salon. The decor and atmosphere are very inviting. Lots of natural light. I see the owner Gina for my hair care. She is very skilled and a nice lady. I always enjoy my visits and look forward to our conversations. She is very knowledgeable about the products she uses. This salon uses Surface: Awaken products which do not have any harmful ingredients, and smell fabulous.

For a short time I suffered from severe hair loss due to a medication. Gina recommended a product that definitely helped. Gina is very easy to schedule with and I never had to wait for any of my appointments. I can definitely recommend this salon!

Best experience ever! I saw Roxie. I came in with a pretty unconventional hair cut request and right from the beginning she was very attentive to the details regarding my specific idea. I requested her opinion and she gave me some very well informed feedback. During the hair cut she was very careful to make sure it was EXACTLY they way that I wanted it.

She was very personable and easy to talk to throughout the whole thing. She already feels like an old family friend! I came in with a vision and Roxie was able to expertly turn it into a reality!

I just moved from Naples, Italy and stumbled upon this gem - Avant Garde. The salon has a great atmosphere and they made me feel right at home. My stylist, Heidi was amazing and so easy to talk to. Heidi was patient and really listened to what I had in mind. She also gave me some expert advice along with a complimentary treatment (Redken heatcure) that my hair so needed.

My hair color, cut and style is beyond what I envisioned. The salon also offers massages, facial treatments and makeup services. On top of all that they support the troops by offering a 10% military discount! Please do yourself a favor and go see Heidi at Avant Garde, you will not be disappointed.

Jamie was amazing. It was my first time going with her to get a massage. An hour was well worth it. Got my mom an appointment for next Friday.

I always have the hardest time finding someone who knows what they are doing when cutting my hair and for the right price. Rose always does exactly what I want and it always looks awesome!

I have had the pleasure of having the very talented Rose cut, color and/or style my hair for years now. I even make a 30 minute drive, because I know I'll never leave her chair unsatisfied. She always delivers above and beyond my expectations. I'd highly recommend her if you want a stylist that actually cares how her clients look and feel.

I was a client of Gina ' s for many years until I wanted to try a different hair style with which she was not comfortable. Instead of trying to create the style herself with the possibility of sending me home disappointed she suggested I try Jessica. I have been using Jess ever since and have been completely happy with her work. I especially like that Jess continues to hone her skills by taking classes and attending seminars which keep her skills on the cutting edge.

Absolutely love this salon! Gina does my entire family's hair except for my husband, he's bald! My teenagers are 17, 17 & 15 and they always love their cuts & style! She's become a friend of the family over the years. She pays attention to detail and is always going the extra distance to make sure we are all taken care of. I highly recommend any service done in this salon as the owner has knowledge and confidence combined with style and integrity; which in my book is always the making of a great business!

After Stephanie left Avant Garde I was a little reluctant about finding another massage therapist but having established myself as a regular there Gina offered me a session with their new massage therapist Jamie. I received an hour massage and was immediately sold on her professionalism, experience, and great personality. Today I was in for another massage with issues in my lower back as well as painful trigger points adjacent to my shoulder blades.

As Jamie worked on my lower back I realized that despite feeling great relief I needed equal attention to those trigger points and asked if she could extend my massage to an hour and a half. Jamie was very attentive and agreed and honestly after that massage not only did my back feel so much better the pain I was experiencing in my lower back had subsided and I walked away not only feeling better but very relaxed and pain free. Thank you Jamie!

I have been playing professional soccer so I have had many, many, MANY massages before. Jamie is the new massage therapist there. I was not too impressed of the massage therapist working there before her. But this time, the salon did an awesome job in finding the right therapist. I feel anew, every time I go in there. I have a very stressful job and Jamie has done a wonderful job relieving the stress and making my life easier.

I have been totally and pleasantly addicted to Massage with Jamie and eagerly look forward to my weekly visits there. She is kind, patient and very thorough in the exquisite physical and profoundly meditative treatments I happily receive each week. I have not yet encountered a super skilled, professionally trained and deeply caring, both physically and emotionally, therapist as she is. Definitely go ahead and give it a try! You will feel anew guaranteed.

I called Gina last min to fix a super bad hair cut that i got and she did a wonderful job! My hair was hacked when i came in and she reconstructed it and made me feel awesome! She also taught me little tips while she was styling n my hair on how to get more volume! Great job! I bought this backcombing brush from her and it is AWESOME. My hair is so long its hard to get body but this brush was a god-send; and to top it off it was only 7 dollars or so. Her prices are reasonable as well.

I am new to the area and stopped in to grab a quick chair massage. Since I wasn't spending a lot of money and hadn't booked ahead, I wasn't expecting much. Stephanie was absolutely delightful, so professional and kind, and went way over expectations for a ten dollar service. I have had many massages and I so appreciated the atmosphere, service, and friendliness. I will be back!

Being new residents to Lincoln, my husband and I have decided to keep our business local. We gave Avant Garde a try and have not been disappointed. I got a massage with Stephanie who was extremely professional and very talented. I have had many massages and her customer service and personal rapport is top notch. Gina cut and colored my hair. I am pretty plain so I needed a low maintanence cut for my long hair. She delivered! She was very knowledgable and her 20 years of experience shined brightly. I will be returning!

I looovvee Gina at Avant Garde! The place is very clean and comfortable, they even have these really nifty sinks that adjust to anyone's height! And she really knows what she's doing with coloring. Also, she was nice enough to tell me exactly what I should buy at Sally's if I wanted to do it myself -- she even gave me her cell phone number and told me to text her if I had any questions!

A really nice, knowledgeable lady who isn't stingy with her talent and provides excellent customer service -- so hard to come by and definitely worth the trip to Lincoln!
