The reviews did not disappoint! I love this salon and so elated with my Hair Artist! I've done a lot of at home changes and finally came in to treat myself. Came out a new person ready to try more styles and colors. Everyone was friendly and helpful with recommendations. So happy I made an appointment

I do not live in phoenix but I needed a cut and color to fix my hair. I was here for the night and they were able to fit me win. What a wonderful salon. What wonderful stylists. I can't believe Alma fixed my hair and I am so very very happy. She added some highlights, the cut is phenomenal. Thank you Alma! I will return and I recommend everyone to visit this salon. Jocelyn was amazing. She is so kind, warm, personable, helpful. She explained everything. This was my first experience in an actual salon and it was magical. Perry was very sweet and answered my questions and hers. He is so attentive and great. The other girls are sweet as well. Front desk as you walk in are so pleasant. Love this place

I highly suggest completing any Vaccination screening of the general public in a more private/confidential setting rather than your reception desk. It's extremely unacceptable and against the law to request a persons medical status without their prior knowledge or consent. Best practice would be to provide a medical screening at the time of scheduling so they can answer discretely and wear proper PPE when they arrive, if they so choose. Shame.

Perry Monge was my first post-lockdown salon visit and I've been a client ever since. Love the stylist, service, and overall vibe.

Was in downtown Phoenix just for the day. I was able to get a same day appointment and saw the WONDERFUL Tyler for a highlight. He did the most amazing job, and his attention to detail was incredible. He worked with me and my hair type and I honestly couldn't be happier. My hair went from drab to fab! I followed up with a cut from Maria and walked out of there feeling great. HIGHLY recommend and I can wait to go back!

I had my first haircut from this Salon when they came to my school district's office and offered teachers a free haircut. Perry cut my hair and it was amazing. Best haircut I'd had in years. And it was free! They stopped coming to our district (no matter because they earned my service!) I am very finicky about how I get my haircut because I have curly/wavy hair.

They are good to make sure I ALWAYS get exactly what I want WITHOUT making me feel dumb. Perry comes by to do exactly what he did all those years ago to make sure I get what I want. I highly recommend this place!

Perry Monge Salon Spa is my hair king - I trust no one but him to cut and color my locks! I get compliments on my hair (color in particular) constantly, and have probably referred up to 10 people to him by now. I usually bring in a reference photo, and each time he nails it. In addition to being a talented colorist and cutter, he's a delightful person and a consummate professional. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Love this place. I love cityscape and perry is always there ensuring everyone is getting the best service. I've been here three times to have my hair done and I go here to purchase Aveda products because it's closer than Scottsdale fashion square. and much cooler.

It was a beautiful day at the Perry Monge Salon and Spa Cityscape! I called ahead for an appointment and they were able to book me this morning which I am so grateful for. The service was a surprise for my boyfriend who has long hair, and was in serious need of a trim. Patricia up front booked me with Karina and of course the entire team at this salon completely exceeded my expectations, especially Melissa who provided an amazing hand massage to me while I waited.

We left looking fabulous and I even bought the perfect product for my boyfriend who has a pretty low maintenance hair lifestyle. The Aveda leave in conditioner and Rosemary Mint Shampoo were perfect for what we needed. Thank you Perry Monge for yet another wonderful experience. I'll be back for sure!

Terrible. Just terrible. Doesn't do tips. Didn't ask what color I wanted for my nails, just knew I wanted ombre. I've never seen such terrible work. My paint is already cracking on my toes after an hour. Will not be back

This was my first time here! I'm splitting my stars into half because my mom and I had two different experiences. I had a 5 star experience and got Balayage and my color expert was AMAZING and thorough and my hair looks incredible! The service I received was top notch and I felt cared for the entire time. Well the reason we ended up coming here is because I had gotten my mom a gift certificate for her birthday and she loves Aveda products.

She didn't need a haircut quite yet, so she decided to get a mani pedi. Well her fingernails looked HORRIBLE like a 5 year old had painted them. It was like they were using gooped up old dried polish because it was thick and bumpy. Her toenails also were messed up looking with a different polish. My mom was so embarrassed about the way it looked that she had to remove it that night.

She said the girl doing her nails was very young and sweet and she gave her a $20 tip, but she didn't want her to get in trouble so she didn't say anything to the front desk. Personally, I don't understand why they would put an inexperienced person who can't tell a quality job in a position like that, especially at a place that is supposed to have a good reputation.

I do totally understand that this is mainly a hair place, but you should not offer a service that is not up to par or your reputation will be affected. My mom had a 1 star experience and I had a 5 star experience, so hence the three star rating. My mom still has money on her certificate, so she will be back at some point and I will adjust my rating based on her experience then. If not for the gift certificate, she would not have returned but maybe this place can redeem themselves.

Update: the hair is still falling out I haven't used heat or hair dye at all since my last appointment when the damage happened as they half way blow dried it at the end. (Not that I ever used heat but maybe once every 3 months) The baldest area is where I realized after getting home late in the day there was still bleach caked on it not completely washed off I could feel it in my hair and washed it out as soon as I realized.

The hair ball is only what I can catch on my counter but my hair is literally covering my apartment from the carpet to my clothes and the wood floors & while I'm out hair balls will just fall & fall even in low ponytails. When I had first visited this salon for hair cuts they did amazing very disappointed in how things have now turned out.

I've been coming to Perry Monge for years now and his staff never fail to deliver. Truly an exceptional experience every time. Today I had the pleasure of working with Tyler and I absolutely adore him! He was very knowledgeable and excited to give me the color i asked for. Ten out of ten will continue to recommend! Thanks Perry!

Ironically The lady who does my hair is named Corina also. I've been going to this salon for over 20 years watched them move 3 times over the years & become bigger because of the wonderful experience they provide to their customers. I will continue to be a patron for all my years because this is the only place I'll let cut & color my hair. This is the best you can get for a Salon experience!

So if you follow me you know i compliment those deserving and will let you know if service is acceptable. My last hair experience was almost two years ago. High end salon burned my hair. Teacher been home year and a half had a fear of getting hair done. I researched yelp and my zip code. Found Perry salon. First a local who we must support and a foodie who we always love. Stepped out on limb got my hair done today. Had great consult.

So went for it! Was gentle took into factors not only service great but it is small extras hand massage while hair processing. Pricing competitive they use Aveda products. Free consults fyi around 20 years.

Can't speak about the hair services, but do NOT get your nails done here. Just left. The girls were really nice, but they barely knew what they were doing. Firstly, they gave us this weird tour of the place which we didn't really want. They have almost no colors from which to choose and the color I chose was empty and they had no backup.

My pedi girl had to leave mid pedicure to check on someone's hair. She spent more time fixing the polish mess ups than doing the pedi itself. Then, even though I told her my polish wasn't yet dry, she insisted it was and ushered us out. My polish was ruined by my shoes by the time I got home. My daughter had a little better mani, but trust me - go to a nail place for nails, not here.

I forgot who my stylist was. i think her name was Kristin? same day appointment. was in town and decided it was too hot and needed a cut. (hair was down to my waist). i requested cascading layers with a V shape cut. she did not disappoint! overall, i like the cleanliness of the salon. they sanitize brushes & scissors after use. wrapping each of the brushes individually. they sure have a lot of staff on hand, which is good in a way but limits the work space. especially with the dividers in between each station.

I really liked my usual stylist but she wasn't available unfortunately so I had to go to Alma I believe. I usually get long layers and face framing and asked for just that. I was left with what looks like a mullet and very blunt layering in the back that almost reminds me of a bowl cut. I'm just really disappointed because my hair took me so long to grow out and now I've gone to another stylist who specializes in fixing cuts and even she recommended extensions, which I can't afford.

So I'm just left with this awful cut and now I can't do anything about it and hate how I look. The only other way I can fix it is by chopping all of my hair off to above my shoulder where that "long" layer is all across the entire back. The "face framing" left me with short pieces across the entirety of the front and they don't blend at all.

I voiced my concern about my cut and they were kind enough to issue me a full refund. But now I'm left so sad and with low confidence due to this cut. I attached the photo which I showed and then my final cut.

I called morning of to get cleaned up after a few days in the desert. They fit me in for a mani/pedi and a wax and then Patty made time to give me a much needed light therapy facial with brow and eyelash tint (why has it taken me so long to try this?!) The service was fantastic. Patty just knows what the skin needs. I walked out of there a brand new woman. They genuinely made my day. I will be making time to see them when I'm back in town - it's worth it. This place is fabulous.

I walked in for a much needed trim today after my work shift. Edith took great care of me, as she had 3 years ago when I first came here. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted and it's a comforting vibe. They offer refreshments and give you a really luxurious experience. I'd never been to a hair salon like this before and I will continue coming here for all my hair needs.

Everyone here is super kind and helpful. The lavender massages help relax the body. Such a lovely surprise. Don't wait any longer than I did. Treat yourself. Thank you, Edith. You're the best!

Coming from another state, I was recommended to this salon for my wedding. Sabrina was absolutely wonderful in listening to what I wanted and making me look and feel so special. She and another stylist also took care of my sisters who were my bridesmaids. Everyone at the salon was friendly, even Perry Monge came up to say hello and introduced himself.

Thank you to Marina for getting me in last minute, putting up with me running late, and giving me awesome highlights and a trim. I had such a relaxing salon time with my hand massage, conditioning mask, and kindness from everyone. I will be back!

Love this salon! All the employees are always seeing if you need anything. I see Jennifer for my hair and she's amazing. She is so amazing that my mom now goes to her for her hair. The price is reasonable to have great hair. My hair was a mess from my last salon and she totally fixed it to perfection.

Hands down best hair cut and style ever! Stephanie is amazing. She's so kind and patient and even relaxed me with a seated neck and scalp massage. After an amazing hair cut n style that made my hair feel super soft while looking incredible, she even did some makeup for me which was icing on the cake. She's so talented. Also special shout out to Amy for a lovey hand exfoliation and massage. I'm visiting from out of town and will most definitely be back anytime I'm in Phoenix! Check this place out - it's a little challenging to find as it's on the second floor of cityplace on top of urban outfitters, but you will love your experience!

No matter what I write on how great they are at Perry's, you have to come give it a try for yourself. You walk in to a drink of your choice. Have your hair consult followed by a back & scalp massage. While your getting your hair fixed up you get a hand massage also! The staff is great and the service is unheard of. If your spending $45 on a cut at another salon, why not get the extra perks at Perry's? They truly know how to take care of their customers.

I had the best experience here today. I unexpectedly had to bring my daughters with me (3&9 years old) and while I got my hair done they took such good care of my girls. They painted their nails, did their hair and gave them snacks. The staff was so kind to me and my children and I am so thankful for their generosity. I also enjoyed my time there so much, they gave me a head and neck massage, a hand massage and pampered me.

I can not wait to go back! The owner himself even came over and gave my stylist Stephanie tips on what to do with my hair. I rarely get to do things for myself being a very busy working mom so everything about today was above my expectations! I cannot wait to return again!

I love it here! It's a bit pricey and I have to park underground which can be a pain but it's worth it! You get a mini massage with aromatherapy before ur shampoo. They offer water and other drinks. Alma is my stylist. I typically wouldn't name a fave because I don't want her to get all booked up but she really is the best and has been with Perry for 19 years. I went yesterday for a cut and already have another appt next week for color. Quality service and style!

Really nice place, I had a great experience here. I got a pedicure and a hairdo and both services were nicely done. The prices are pretty reasonable, too. It can be a bit tricky to find - it's on the second floor in the courtyard area - but it is well worth seeking out. I was just a visitor but they still treated me like a regular customer.
