I have been wanting a design on the side of my head for years. Yesterday decided to do it. I had Ronnel a Barber @ Bellus Academy, do an adorable free hand heart design. He cleaned up my side shave that I already had. He used trimmers & a straight razor blade to do the design. He explained what he was doing and products he used. He was confident in his skills and had a steady hand. I highly recommend him and can't wait for my next design from him. Thank you Ronnel!

HOLY HAIR HAPPINESS! My girl Kayllyn did such an amazing job on my extremely long, unmanageable, tangled hair! I had an appointment in Poway last week with Tomika K, for a cut and color. Let me just say it was a great experience, far exceeding my expectations. I had a consultation to discuss what I was looking for, what issues I have with my hair, and what I would be open to. I let her know, it was her hair on my head to do what she felt was going to look great.

I was totally blown away by her skills with scissors and the color is beautiful. If you're on the fence about giving students a chance, please do yourself a favor and make an appointment. I can't wait to go back and see what Tomika has in store.

Do not go to this school, I made the mistake of signing up because I thought they had the best program. Their prices are significantly more than other schools but supposedly they offer a Master Program and that's why it's more. It remains to be seen if their training is actually worth it. Beware they will up your tuition costs even after you start your classes and your are stuck there.

Very unprofessional women in the office, they don't answer the phone and just seem all around not competent at their jobs. I so wish I had gone to the least expensive school. Really regret signing up. RUN.

Becca B did my hair. I came in with very blonde hair and was in desperate need of low lights. Becca blended my roots to my natural color. Her expertise was very impressive since she's still in school. Her knowledge, professionalism and friendliness made me feel completely comfortable with letting her have complete freedom with my hair. I have found my forever hairdresser. I will follow her anywhere in San Diego.
