Michelle at Biyoshi is so amazing that even though I moved to the North Shore 10 years ago, I still drive down to get my hair cut by her. The cuts are not only incredible, they grow out so well that I can go much longer in between cuts. This week I got my hair highlighted for the first time. Showed her a pic of celebrity hair and it came out EXACTLY the same as the picture.

5+ stars! I was a little nervous at first. I wanted to dye my hair an outrageous color, and I wasn't sure if a salon in Brookline would really give me the desired affect. Michelle, my stylist, was incredibly knowledgeable, capable, and friendly. I went in as a dark brunette and left with bright red locks -- a color she recommended. I love it and friends are constantly complimenting me!

Amazing salon! I've only worked with Juliet but have heard great things about all the employees. Juliet knows her stuff. And she told me things about my hair that stylists never mentioned and gave me practical help. And best part is, she's game to try new things with you. Color, bangs, whatever. I highly recommend this salon!

I started going to this salon when they were on Comm. Ave. They moved, I moved, and I've tried a dozen different salons since then. Thankfully I found Michelle again in Brookline and I won't be going anywhere else. Biyoshi is the best! I have really thick unruly hair and Michelle has always given me an awesome modern cut, where as before I kept getting "the Rachel" from the 90s. Best coloring too!

I've been going to Michelle for two years and haven't had a bad haircut yet! She always does a great job and her use of the safety razor instead of traditional scissors helps keep my hair looking great even when it has grown out.

I've been going to Andrea and Michelle at Biyoshi for years, starting when they were in Brighton on Comm Ave and I have always been happy with the great job they do. They even cut a costume wig that I brought to them and it came out awesome.

I don't know who those Brian and Blair people are but I just this place is not even worth the one star I gave! I dont know if this place is not the right place for men's haircut or what. But it SUCKS in every way! There was this unfriendly lady who cut my hair with a RAZOR BLADE! LIKE THE WHOLE THING WITH ONLY RAZOR BLADE! Not so hard to guess, it came out TERRIBLE!

She took so much hair out on sides with the FREAKING RAZOR close to shave and so unevenly! NOW IM STUCK WITH A STUPID HAIRCUT! This is not THE END, she also charged me 40 FREAKING DOLLARS FOR THE CRAPPIEST HAIRCUT!

Everything. I haven't had a bad haircut in 11 years and get one anytime I can when back in Boston since moving in '08. The vibe is right, creative and funky, classy and high quality. Plus everyone is super nice and before long they will feel like family.
