I have been a stylist for nearly 30 years. I am certified in multiple extension techniques such as bonded, tape-in and beaded and am now offering hand-tied extensions. I love helping clients find which one is just right for them. I love to learn, so I am continually taking classes to keep up with the newest trends and techniques. Sheryl has been in the industry for more than 15 years and she specializes in blonding and man cuts. She really rocks at Balayage and Ombre. She is a certified Aquage Master Artist.

I am a very "high maintenance blond" with a strong tendency to pull a brassy orange if the stylist is not highly knowledgeable and superbly skillful. Tess, the owner is all of this and more! My hair is a perfect shade of blond and she is so patient with my many requests! I observe her being so with all her clients and marvel at the work she does. The salon is welcoming and comfortable and I would not go elsewhere!

First of all I love my color. But my haircut is the worst I have ever had. No resolution. No offer to return my money for the cut. My bangs are uneven. I could go on. Will look for another salon. Stylist was rushed. So sad because I loved this salon. Tess was my stylist. Went to another salon. My hair had to be cut alot shorter to even the "mullet" I received.

I booked an appointment on a Monday for the following Thursday and was assured I would be seeing Chelsi because she was who I requested. I even called back that day to change the time of the appointment for 30 minutes later and they said it was fine. When I got there for the appointment, it was her day off and she would not be able to come in because she lives in Childress!
Another girl offered to do my hair and I needed it done because I was shooting a commercial that day. When she finished, it looked awful. She cut off too much hair, it was uneven, and the way she styled it looked slicked down and flat when I had purposefully told her I like volume and wanted it to have some lift. A high school girl could have styled it better. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

First, I am very picky as to who touches my hair and I only choose Color Design because of my awesome, stylist Tess! She is an EXPERT in all things to do with hair! I have walked in many times and told her to do whatever she wants-cut, color, style-yeah, she's that good! I always have a great experience and have been a client 10-15 years! The salon also has such a cool relaxed vibe to it!
Everyone is so friendly and they always welcome you with a cheery hello and a big smile! So if you need an expert hair stylist, I highly recommend Color Design! They book up quickly but with a little patience they will get you in.
