My gal(Jen Miller) is a great hairstylist. She does terrific work.

DD is the hair master! I've been wanting a specific cut for years and nobody could nail it but she just gets it. She knew exactly what I was looking for in the color as well. She did a phenomenal job - so happy to have found her!

I love coming here! Everyone in the salon makes you feel welcomed. Jenny does an excellent job with my hair. She has been my stylist for several years. Very easy to talk to about styles and color. Every time I leave the salon I receive a compliment about how beautiful my hair looks. Blonde, straight, beautiful, and healthy! I am looking forward to trying the Brazilian Blowout by Jenny next month.

So happy D Side was recommended to me! I'm new to the area and wanted to find someone who could guide me in color options for my hair. Jenny was amazing and I love my new color!

I can't say enough great things about D Side. I've been getting my cut and color done by DD the last few years and it's always a great experience. Always a professional, clean & welcoming environment. So if you're looking for a great salon that offers a wide range of services with a great staff then I absolutely recommend D Side!

I love this salon! All the stylist are so upbeat, fun and positive! Tiffany did my hair and I felt like she was devoted to making it look fabulous! Hundreds of foils later I feel like a new woman! Thanks, Tiffany for the hair makeover!

D Side studio Hair Salon was an angel to me, leighanna did my hair and I am in love with it. I went completely platinum white and I feel like a wonderful new person. Although it was a little expensive than I expected it to be it was a great experience and both leighanna and Kendall are great.

Appointment was at 3. Was told a couple of minutes after standing at the front by the only employee that she was my stylist and was running 20 minutes late. At 3:40, after not hearing anything else, I walked out. I ignored the reviews about the poor customer service here and made an appointment anyway. My mistake. As I'm new to the area, I was looking for someone who would cut my hair well that I would return to every 5 weeks till whenever. They lost someone who could have been a good customer. Instead, they get this review. Don't ignore the bad reviews. They're valid. I'll never go back.

DD at Dside did my hair and it turned out AMAZING! It is my favorite color of blonde Ive had yet! She was friendly, extremely fast and did my hair exactly the way i wanted as if she were a mind reader I highly recommend D side to anyone who wants cute & healthy hair. It was a little pricey but well worth every penny! I will be back to DD forever:

Leighanna always does an amazing job on my hair! I've been going to her for 3 years. Every time I ask for a suggestion and let her play with my hair, it always turns out so good! I honestly don't trust anyone else with my hair. She is great and I highly recommend her!

Kendall is the greatest! Never been happier with my highlights. She knew exactly what I would want and what would look best on me. Even when I decided days later that I wanted a little more thinned out she squeezed me into her schedule right away. 10/10 would recommend!

Quality work, knowledgeable (& talented!) staff, all located right on Main Street in downtown Vancouver. As a local, I've tried the salons in big box stores, the niche day-spas, and even the expensive salons across the bridge. This is the place to stop if you're tired of paying a pretty Portland penny and you still desire to be in the hands of a professional, experienced stylist.

I saw Chelsea for a trim and an overdue color correction. My yellowed blonde was fixed and Chelsea was incredibly well versed in the science behind her technique! I would highly recommend her. I must also say that while I was in the chair, the two other customers in the salon left with nothing less than lovely hair as well. a sign of a truly outstanding salon!

Leighanna( I'm sorry I'm not sure how to correctly spell her name) did an AMAZING job. She made me feel right at home, did a fantastic job at styling my hair. She gave me great advise towards what I wanted. And she was an all around great stylist. Thank you, defiantly coming back!

What a big disappointment! 2 months ago I made my hair appointment at D Side Studio for my hair The lady gave me a reminder card for 10 am and I got there at 940. The receptionist said I missed my appointment. She said that my appointment is at 9 and the hairstylist already left. I showed her the reminder card that they gave me and it's says 10 am. And she said she can't really do anything for me and I just need to reschedule my appointment. Wow! So, I was so disappointed. I just walked away.

Just got an undercut pixie that was perfectly executed by Lenea---she absolutely nailed it! She is so meticulous and thoughtful with her cuts---fabulous texturizing! Highly recommend her if you are a short hair kind of gal

Have been going to D Side for the last year. Davina was my stylist and I loved her! (She just moved :-() But the salons as a whole is very nice. Friendly helpful staff and my hair has always come out amazing! I've done everything from purple and blues to natural highlights. They can do it all.

Nice and clean facilities. They do a fine job when you can get in; however they will double book and not give you the courtesy of calling to let you know until you arrive, with zero compassion or concern for wasting your time. Their poor service out weighs their pro's. Possibly a training issue? Or this is just how they operate? I'm not sure, but I'm too busy to find out and will definitely not be going back.

I chose this salon due to its location. At that time it was a block from my work. I am no longer at that job, but still make my way downtown to see Kendell. The salon itself, is a beautifully designed space that is nice to sit and relax. They try to keep their music nice as to not offend and if something does come up that isn't appropriate, they switch the channel.

One of the things I do have an issue with is the new receptionist. She does not keep appropriate track of the appointments and has lost customers for the stylists due to errors. My recommendation is to get someone in there that is going to pay attention and keep peoples appointments. Playing on your cell while you are taking a call from a client is not the best thing.

I like my stylist who does a great job on my hair and I am extremely picky. She knows what I like and how I like my hair. I would recommend this salon but make sure if you make an appointment, you double check time, date, etc. Do not rely on the ditsy front desk person.

This salon is the best! Very clean, smells great and Brooke is amazing! She's awesome with hair color! She is beautiful and friendly and super talented. She does great haircuts! I highly recommend her and bringing my husband here so she can work on him!

Got my hair styled by Davina and it went perfect with my outfit for a birthday party. I asked for a half updo with loose braids and soft curls. She made sure my hair stayed in place and kept it natural looking. She was very sweet and has lots of style. That night, my hair got raves and compliments all night. I'd definitely come back and try some of her other ideas. I saw the color and cut she did on a client before me and it was gorgeous! So talented and nice. Thanks Davina.

Davina was awesome she did exactly what I wanted and it turned out great. The worst part about getting my hair done is having to sit in a chair and force a conversation with the stylist I don't know. Davinia is hands down the easiest person to have a conversation, this was my first time going and we talked the whole time with no awkward silences or forced conversation.

I love D side Studio. It is a nice clean environment, everyone there is really wonderful and aren't shallow. It's really nice to go in there and know I'm going to be treated well. I am always welcomed instantly and offered water. The girls all are just awesome! Kindall is amazing. I trust her with my hair above all, she even makes little notes in my file so she can give me the best possible cut and style.

Best blonde EVER! I have been going to one of the top PDX salons for 10 years and my regular girl is going on maternity leave so I decided to make the big risk of trying again on the Vancouver side. I was petrified to go elsewhere, until I met Brooke! I was happy with my hair before, but now I'm thrilled! She is amazing! Very cool vibe, big smile and very welcoming.

My hair feels healthy and my hair doesn't feel like straw or blown out. My hair is platinum with no brassy. Soo happy I found someone, and close to me now! Yay! No more beating traffic in Downtown Portland! Thank you Brooke! Ps I cancelled all of my old appts and booked out with her immediately. She also does makeup and I'm planning on trying that soon as well! So happy!

Davina is an amazing stylist. She not only makes sure your hair is to perfection but she is warm and bubbly. She makes getting your hair done fun and a breeze. I've never left a salon getting the exact hair I wanted until now. Davina is sweet and kind and you won't regret seeing her, and neither will your locks!

I felt so disconnected with my hair before finding Kendall. This is by far the happiest I have ever been with my hair. I was looking around Vancouver for A WHIlE trying to find a salon worth coming back to. I am a very indecisive person and came in not exactly knowing what I wanted to do with my poor hair. I was afraid to come in without an exact style I wanted for my hair.

The only other time I had been so in love with my hair was when I went through Kendall at a previous salon a long long time ago. I trusted she would know what would be best for my hair as she did such a great job previously. She did NOT disappoint. I left the salon feeling great on the inside and out because my hair looked amazing! Kendall's customer service and talent are out of this world. I will continue to be a faithful client to her as long she is around!

Lenea is amazing and talented. She has a great eye. She gave me a great cut and color. She has done my hair three times and it was perfect every time.

I have been to both Hanna and Lenea at D Side Studio and they are both great! Hanna is very respectful of what I requested and worked hard to make it the least expensive as possible. Lenea is my new hero who saved me from a HORRIBLE haircut (from another Vancouver salon). She was patient and creative as she tried to repair my cut, while respecting that I had been trying to grow my hair longer. She also gave me a great blow out! Given my experience with two stylists at this salon, I would highly recommend anyone there!

Disclaimer: I am an easy going person, but when it comes to my hair I have very high standards. I had a bad short haircut years ago and it left me scarred for life. So imagine my anxiousness in deciding to chop off 12 inches! I read the YELP reviews and decided to make an appointment with these ladies. It was a very last minute decision so I was pleasantly surprised to know they could make room for me.

I was booked with Hanna. I couldn't have been happier with my experience. She was so confident in what she was doing, I felt right at ease. I also loved the fact that she took her time on me, I was there for a good hour and a half (seriously) and never once felt rushed. She also curled my hair just to show me how to style it in the future. There was no hard sell for products, just a genuinely great haircut experience. I really couldn't believe how great the haircut turned out.

After reading the reviews for D Side Studio, I scheduled an appointment with Heather and she did an amazing job! Heather was very thorough and she really paid attention to detail. She also took her time when cutting my hair, which I really appreciated. The receptionist was friendly, as well as the other stylists. I will definitely be going back to Heather, at D Side Studio, again! She was very friendly, very professional and she did an awesome job with my hair. I'm so glad that I finally found a great salon and an awesome stylist! Thank you, Heather!
