My husband and I have been going to Delane's for a couple years now, and we would never consider going anywhere else. It's very clean, everyone does an excellent job, I feel safe during Covid (more on that below), and most importantly everyone there is SO KIND AND FRIENDLY. Delane and Myeshia (who we normally see for pedicures) are smart and hilarious and good friends by this point.
It feels more like going to have a fun conversation and hang out, with the added benefit of extremely thorough pedicures. The salon has individual rooms and soothing music, it feels much more relaxing than sitting in a row full of people with a tv blaring like some nail salons. There's also a ton of polish colors to choose from, they keep adding new ones! Delane and Myeshia run an associated nonprofit called DNNC Steps to Success, focusing on providing job training and opportunities for Black single mothers.
In addition to the best pedicures I've ever received, I'm honored to support a Black woman-owned business that does so much for our local community also. Regarding Covid protocols as of January 2021- masks are required, they check our temperature at the door and offer hand sanitizer. There's air purifiers in each room, and the staff are double-masked over mouth and nose. It's one of the few places during Covid where I feel safe indoors around other people.

Today was my first time getting a pedicure done and Keryflex (Prosthetic Nail Care). The overall experience was good and the young lady who did the pedicure and Keryflex (Prosthetic Nail Care) service today was great. The before and after look of my toenails only looked awesome. However, upon arriving home I noticed once the moisturizers she had placed on my feet had wared out the bottom of my feet wasn't soaked and scrubbed well at all.
It was still tough and I had a lot of dead skin and cracking throughout. It wasn't what I expected as if I went to a regular nail salon for a pedicure and left with my feet fully soaked and scrubbed feeling smooth. The $150 plus $40 tip = $190 I paid in cash was truly not worth it besides the one toenail placement. I will probably only use them for the toenail placement in a couple of months depending on how it's doing but will not use any pedicure services moving forward.
I received a call and took over a canceled appointment last minute so there was a possibility my service was rushed as other appointments arrived. Everyone was so nice and helpful and I wanted to return and give my first experience 5 stars but the aftermath was not okay at all.

I really, really enjoyed everything about my pedicure. I was The only person in the room, it was nice and tranquil, it was clean, they used a plastic bag in the bowl that they placed my feet in, she was very gentle with my toes, very caring, my massage was amazing. It then asked for a design and she created something really fun and vibrant, it was just an overall stellar experience. I'll definitely be back and I give it a 10 star**********
