Asia is an amazing hair stylist. She knew exactly what I was trying to accomplish with my hair. I am well pleased. Found my new hairstylist. Love the atmosphere in the salon!

Love love LOVE my hair by stylist, Asia. I had never been to Eve Salon Spa before and had grown used to my regular stylist, so I was anxious to try somewhere new. Asia was so kind and comfortable, gave me exactly what I asked for, and made this a very positive experience. As an LGBTQ person, I'm always anxious about going somewhere new. The staff at Eve Salonspa are super friendly, intelligent, and caring. Looking forward to returning someday soon & would recommend to someone of any age, gender, etc.

I got a massage after dealing with knots for months. Ralph was super friendly and I walked out feeling a million times better than when I went in! Thanks, Ralph, for being awesome! I'll be back!

Woman's haircut is more expensive than a man's haircut. To the business response: you are correct. Your prices are comparable to other salons in that they charge women more than men for a haircut. Does that make it right? No. Especially when the vast majority of women make less than men. Also, a woman's cut can be a lot more simple than a man's cut anyways.

I have had pedicures and shellac manicures here twice, and a massage once. It takes a while to get in, is my only complaint. But once you are in the experience is relaxing from the time you are greeted to the time you leave. The massage was one of the best I have ever had.

Service got canceled because the message therapist got sick. Why offer a service if you don't have back up plan. I asked the manager to have owner to call me as they were out of town and have not received a call back. I understand things come up but when making the reservation they take my credit card information if I don't cancel in a timely manner but, they can cancel on me within a hour.

I am out of a days pay because I took the day off work and gas money because I was already on my way there. My advice is don't offer services if you don't have a back up plan in a pandemic, if your a manager and say the owner will call you make sure the owner calls the client, and last don't take credit card information over the phone if you don't plan on keeping appointments on your end.

Booked a couples massage for my girlfriends 30th birthday. They called us 45 minutes before our appointment to cancel. We live an hour away and were on our way there. First and last time trying this place.

Best pedicure I have ever experienced. Efforts are made to make it ergonomic and comfortable, and the environment is relaxing and gorgeous!

I got my hair cut and styled today by Asia and she fixed my hair nightmare! She listened to exactly what I was wanting and reassured me she could accomplish what I was asking for. She was so fun to talk to and my hair looks beautiful. Thank you so much! Service: Haircut

I came here to get my hair colored and cut on recommendation from a coworker. I have brunette hair and I wanted some red (not orange) highlights. I saw Morgan, and she was very nice. She recommended a color. She mixed it up, applied it, and foiled up my hair. About an hour later she washed it out, dried my hair, and styled it. One problem - no visible color difference.

She was saying that she could see it "when the light hit it" and that the sunlight would really show it too. I went outside and still couldn't see any difference. I went home, turned on my makeup vanity lights and STILL could not see any red. Just brown. I called the salon, spoke with Morgan, and told her the situation. She was not able to see me the next day.

She said she could explain the situation to a different stylist (Jen) and I could come see her tomorrow to fix it and try again with a brighter red. So I came back the next day after work. Jen and I talked for a bit to make sure she understood the situation and what I wanted. I wanted to be able to see the red, and have lots of it running through my brown hair.

She recommended an even brighter red-violet color and so she foiled up my hair with that color. Again. An hour later, my hair washed, dried, and styled - no red. Just brown still. Yet Jen is sitting here telling me, "you don't see it? Do you want me to take a picture?" No.i don't want you to take a picture. I'm not blind. There's just no red in my hair thanks.

So after about 4 hours in the salon, over the course of 2 days, and $130 later I have the same hair that I went in with. Brown. Thanks for nothing. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because they at least attempted to fix their mistake. But still failed a second time unfortunately.

Had my first one hour massage here today and oh my word, Ariel is outstanding! The spa portion is not overly fancy, you get undressed/ready in the massage room so no fluffy robes and slippers but that is perfectly fine with me. The rooms are very cozy, noise cancelling, and perfect temperature. Her pressure was perfect, it was an overall an amazing experience. I'm normally not a huge fan of arm and leg massage but I was digging this! She did great. Check in/out process was quick and easy. I'll definitely be back!

After finally hitting the beginning of third trimester of my pregnancy, I decided to treat myself to a body polish and massage with Amanda. The scheduling process was unusual since I wanted a package deal that usually doesn't include a prenatal massage, but the ladies on the phone were accommodating and full of suggestions so I could get my perfect afternoon.

My massage therapist, Amanda, was knowledgeable on what Aveda products were safe for pregnancy, and gave me exactly what I needed. (A little lighter pressure on just one side? No problem. Need a little assistance in rolling over? Absolutely. Need to turn down the table heat because my body can't decide what it wants any more? Sure thing!) I am writing this review in the waiting and lounge area of the spa, eating a light snack and hydrating, and totally blissed out from being completely pampered. Two thumbs way up, highly recommend, can't wait to do it again!

Getting your hair done here? Oh yes, this place is great for that. Not only my stylist, whom I have been seeing for over 4 years now, is wonderful, but I watch the others do a great job, too. They use awesome modern products and are great artists, too. I would recommend for people to put their trust in them. HOWEVER, I got my nails done there once with gel polish and would not recommend that.

They were super rushed with the manicure and the girl that did my nails had overbooked herself and barely had time and left a large gap between the polish and my cuticles, which basically made it look like it was at least a week old. So I would absolutely not recommend getting a super expensive manicure done there. I ended up going to a cheaper place and having to get my nails fixed, essentially paying for 2 manicures in one weekend- thanks.

This amazing salon spa is one I've gone to for years. They have never disappointed me, and I can be very hard to please. The staff here are so thoughtful and kind, you really will enjoy any service you have here. I've had a lot of massages, I have chronic pain and I've had massages at world renowned spas in Detroit and pretty much everywhere around portage/Kalamazoo.

And I can honestly say that Amanda who works here at Eve is the very best. She is amazing. So kind and great at what she does. I wouldn't ever go elsewhere, she's got me for life. When you first walk into the salon and check in they lead you back through the hair salon to the spa waiting area. The lighting is low and there's relaxing music playing. Comfy chairs to sit in.

Once your appointment is ready to start your massage therapist will lead you back to your treatment room. They have a warm foot soak waiting for you, and they will chat with you a bit and find out what areas you want to put focus on and also what scents you want as far as aroma therapy is concerned. Your therapist will dry off your feet and step out to let you get undressed to your level of comfort and get situated on the table.

Warm towels and more zen music are nice touches to compliment the amazing massage you're about to get. when you're done you're led back to the spa waiting area and a cold water and a chocolate is waiting for you. There's an area with teas, coffee and small snacks for you to enjoy before you venture back into reality. I recommend enjoying a snack to prolong the zen experience!

The bathroom is gorgeous and they are super thoughtful in that they provide styling tools and some styling products in case you need to freshen up your hair or makeup before you go back to reality. They also have menstrual products available which is just another small detail that confirms they are the most thoughtful people in the world. Whenever you're ready to leave you can walk back through the gorgeous sparkly door and to the front desk to check out. Everyone is so friendly and sweet, they treat everyone with so much kindness and respect and I will always sing their praises. I can't wait to go back!

Had a manicure over the weekend. The salon itself is very nice, and the staff very professional and friendly. However, it was obvious that they were rushed. My friend left with top coat all around her cuticles and nails, and when she tried very carefully to remove it, it peeled all the color off. Not even two days later and the polish on over half my nails is chipping.

The spa area of this business is so peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. Hard to believe such an oasis sits right on Westnedge! After a scheduling mistake with my massage, I was given a massage by Jamie. Oh my, she was wonderful! She worked exactly on the areas of concern and exactly like I asked her. She was calming and thorough. I will definitely be back to see her again!

I would have given 5 stars except it's not the first scheduling issue and sometimes the women at the front desk of the salon part where you check in are a bit busy chatting with each other to greet customers without a wait. (Perhaps that is part of the scheduling problem?) GO TO THIS SPA - YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

Terrible job. I went in for a trim and left with 3 inches cut off. I wasn't super mad because I needed a good cut but this was awful. It was uneven and there was a whole piece of hair she missed. I believe the woman's name was Jen? Anyways, TERRIBLE job. Would not recommend.

I've never had a professional massage before Jamie and the experience was so relaxing and I literally felt like a new person. Eve salon is very cute and welcoming. They seemed extremely clean and really made the experience for you. I highly recommend going back. I had the deep tissue massage for a strained neck and spine.

Came here for my bridal hair on the suggestion of my sister-in-law who grew up in Kalamazoo. I honestly did not know exactly what I wanted, and was so relieved when I described my dress and general idea to the stylist and she came up with something beautiful. I've never had a better up-do, and it was very reasonably priced. They seem to get quite busy, so be sure to book well in advance. I will say that they did make me wait about 15 minutes despite having an appointment for my trial. Would recommend nonetheless!

If I could give 10 stars, I totally would! This place literally saved the day. I just moved to Kalamazoo for work and have no idea where anything is, so I thought I'd hop in the car a find a new spot to get my nails done before my work trip next week. Well, I must have called 5 different salons, all booked, and drove around for at least an hour until I finally got in touch with a place that said they could take me. Well, they failed to mention that their heater was broken (um it's 5° outside and it's Michigan so.), and they didn't even have pedicure chairs where I could stick my cold little toes!

It was super weird and I felt bad, but I had to bail. Thank god, I pulled into Eve's parking lot and they were able to squeeze me in with Kelsey. She is an absolute gem and did an amazing job. I got a gel manicure and pedicure, and then another staff member gave me a tour around the salon and showed me the new spa pedicure room. I will definitely be back to take advantage of the new space! Can't wait to bring a friend and a bottle of wine. Thank you so much Eve Salon Spa, you really did save the day!

Such a nice little place! The decorations are really nice and pleasant to look at! Emily took really good care of me and my hair and I will absolutely make this my permanent salon!

I had the BEST pedicure here while visiting from out of town. It's been three weeks and my toes still look beautiful!

I've been a client at Eve Salonspa for years and I absolutely love it! I've been to almost all the stylists and each of them have their own great style. I've also been in for spa services and have fallen in love with the hot stone massages! The whole staff has always been very helpful and friendly and I couldn't be more happy with the services I've gotten. I highly recommend this salon/spa.

I had a wonderful massage today from Maria. I have been a massage therapist for 15 years and am normally disappointed. I was having some bad shoulder pain and needed anything that would help at all. I am not from the area and took a chance with Eve Salon & Spa. Maria surpassed my expectations and did a thorough an amazing job. Thank you!

Love going here. Gwt my hair done here all the time. The only thing I dont like is the chairs. They need more compfy ones to relax in. That would make this salon so much better if they get better chairs to sit on. The ones they do have I feel very uncomfortable. But I love my stylist there so I will keep going

Definitely a fan of this salon. The service level is great. Prices are very reasonable. Products that are used are top notch. I look forward to going to get my hair done every six weeks because it is always such a relaxing experience.

I was here for nail service, so I can not speak about any other service Eve may offer. There are way better and more friendly places in town to have a pedicure. The staff seems a bit aloof and almost snotty. The pedicure was okay.just okay because pedicures are always good :- I would not come here again. It just wasn't worth the money. It doesn't seem like the staff would really care that they lost a customer either!
