Tzabrina did an excellent job on not only my hair but my granddaughter hair. She worked around my chaotic schedule. I have been scared of letting anyone cut my hair for years, but Tzabrina was not only extremely considerate of this, she was also great company and very kind. The salon is beautiful and creates a comfortable environment. My experience there was great and I plan on continuing to go back for all my hair needs.

Tzabrina consulted, shampood, cut and styled my car wreck of overgrown hair as well as my teenagers. She LISTENED to our issues, UNDERSTOOD our needs (I have blue hair currently so color care is a necessity), gave us TIME without feeling rushed, and filled us with knowledge and understanding- she educated us on care of my girls wild hair SO much more than anyone's ever bothered to do.

We feel like we have what we need moving forward! And she's definitely doing my short hair maintenance from here on out. I LOVE what she has done with my cut- she "gets" me and what I needed.

I just moved here from California and I've been looking for a reputable tanning salon. I ran across Gecko Tans and read up on all the ratings from Yelp and Google, almost every review was good. So, I emailed Brittany (owner) and asked about her beds and prices, they are exactly what I was looking for. I ventured over there today and used the high performance bed.

I was totally impressed with the over all condition of the salon as well as her knowledge of each and every bed. I give Gecko Tans 5 stars, and I'm so glad I found it. That was 5 years ago, and I'm still using Gecko Tanning Salon ~ I love everything about this place. Thank you Brittany.

Given the state lock down for COVID-19, Gecko Tans has gone above and beyond to do whatever they can to still service their clients. They delivered, to my front door, a bag with a sunless tanning mousse and lotion that is absolutely amazing! Does not streak, smells great, and gets the job done! I am so grateful for their ability to keep me going and my skin looking beautifully bronzed! Thank you, Gecko Tans!

The girl in the front is always super friendly and helpful! I don't come in too often, only to get my base tan started when it starts to warm up or if I'm going on vacation and need a little kick start. But always happy when I leave!

I would NOT recommend Gecko Tanning Salon. I've now tanned 6 times in their beds and only have color from the bronzer they sold me and that goes away after I shower leaving me with no tan. So not impressed.

Don't sign up for the VIP unlimited tanning package. I did and now my credit score is suffering. I signed up for this thing which is basically a guaranteed income stream for the business. I was reluctant to sign up for any recurring charges because I travel a lot and am hardly ever in Cruces. I was assured that they would put a hold on my account during periods of travel.

I was particularly concerned about April because I was in Europe almost the entire month of April. I gave them a weeks warning, a 72 hour notice and a 24 hour notice. By the time the 24 hour notice was given, Affiliated Acceptance (it quickly becomes a credit collections service) had already charged me for April. Now it's going to be a legal battle and a real headache. I would avoid this place like the plague.

I started going to Gecko Tans over 13 years ago. Although I have moved away long ago, Gecko has always been my go to spot when visiting Las Cruces. I most recently came in for a quick bed tan and spray tan for my high school reunion. Girl on staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. More than willing to explain how each bed works. As someone who has personally worked in the salon and spa industry for over a decade, I trust the equipment and facility here at Gecko Tans

Great salon! Friendly staff, awesome beds! The salon is clean, and the packages affordable! Happy Las Cruces had a tanning salon! All levels of beds, including spray tans!

As long as you realize this is Las Cruces, NM and not Las Vegas, NV, you'll do OK at this place. I gave it two stars because on 3 occasions one of the Mystic sprayers in the spray tan booth was clogged and only one spray nozzle worked. (This will result in streaking unless you have a sponge roller.) Gecko Tans does not use Mystic Tan solution but uses a cheaper California Tan solution which looks orange in Levels 2 and 3. The premises is clean and the staff is friendly, that's about it.

Phenomenal Staff! The girls working here were so sweet, they walked me out to my car w/ an umbrella since it was raining and they didnt want me to ruin my spray tan! The prices are beyond reasonable, $25 for one spray tanning season. The spray tanning booth is a little older, but again, for that price it was completely reasonable. Also, the salon is in the shopping plaza and not visible from the road, so pay close attention when trying to find it on your first visit!
