Found out on Thursday might that I was going to Amherst for Saturday for a family visit. Called several places on Friday and got lucky when the people here had a slot with Chris for a desperately hair-challenged Covid cut and slotted me in. Chris ended up doing a wet and dry cut- my hair was a mess. With a clever move, I left the style up to him - I'm no stranger to saying "you can cut more off if you want".

He loped off like 4 or 5 inches, thinned out the heavy locks and layered all over, sheared in some bangs and gave me some much needed bounce. It's flattering and have recommended them to my family already who live in the area.

Chris did an amazing job on getting the exact shade of pink I wanted! It's been a week and the color has held up beautifully and it still feels super nice from the hair mask he added. Plus I spent less getting my entire head bleached, colored, and cut with tip than I did last year getting an ombre pink before tip so the price point is really good while being even more high quality than what I'm used to. Can't recommend him enough!

I haven't had my hair done here yet, but I go here regularly to get my eyebrows and lip waxed. I've been to a lot of salons in the area and for each one there has always been something I didn't like about the waxing experience, but everyone who's done my eyebrows and lip at Hair East has done a fantastic job! Isabelle is a doll, she always does a very quick and painless wax (compared to others I've gotten) that comes out looking natural and even. The student discount at this place also makes it very affordable, it's a little bit cheaper than other salons in the area. Cannot recommend enough for facial waxing!

Nikki is the best! She did my make up for my wedding and did an amazing job. I truly felt beautiful while maintaining the more natural look that I like. All of the stylists and make up artists that did our wedding were wonderful to work with, efficient, and did a beautiful job!
