My stylist Erin was right on time for our appointment and was very personable and easy to talk to. She listened intently on what I wanted and gave me a great cut. We now have my bridal updo planned and I'm excited! The salon itself was very clean and decorated nicely. They have a comfy waiting room with snacks and water too.

Terri cut my thick, straight hair EXACTLY the way I wanted. I am so happy. One of the best parts is that she showed me the various ways I could style it later. I was smiling all the way home.

Just got home from my appointment and OMG YAY I finally found someone who understands my curly hair! Thanks to Jessica for a great day. Fantastic cut, beautiful color, I couldn't be happier! I had a root touch up and color balance. The service I received was great. The atmosphere is great. The hair color is touched up, but it isn't vibrant. Another thing that is noticeably different is the smell of the hair color and the shampoo. Everywhere I have been to before, good and bad experiences, I have always left with great smelling hair.

This time was noticeably different in that there is absolutely no smell. Not even that just washed my hair smell. Also lacking is the shine. Even my husband noticed. He said it was done, but just dull. I am middle aged, and have never done my own color, and the result is just okay. I decided on this salon because it was on the salon locator for Aveda. My usual go to's in a new area are a salon that used Oribe products or a salon that uses Aveda. Maybe I should have specified.

This was my first visit to Head Hunters. I had consulted with a few different salons that could not do what I was asking. During my consultation both Liz and Terri were attentive and honest with what I needed to do in orders to achieve the hair style I wanted. When I returned for my perm Liz took the time and paid attention to details to ensure a lasting beautiful perm.

This is the first time in years that I walked out of the salon not thinking of how I would have to fix my hair. These stylists are amazing, talented, and create an inviting atmosphere. Thank you so much for my wonderful new hair style! I will definitely be back!

I am new to the area and was having a very hard time finding a new salon to have my hair done. I even went to Seattle, but everyone was booked up. A colleague suggested The Head Hunter and I called them. They made an appointment for me, the owner even stayed late in order to get me in. Wow! Terri you did an amazing job with my hair! I'm very picky and nervous going to new places, but I can honestly say this is about one of the best color jobs I've ever had. Terri and Randy do an amazing job. They really listen about the look you want, never too short and they take their time. My mother-in-law gets color and it looks natural and flattering on her. They do a great job on thick, wavy and curly hair. So glad we found this salon.

I have been coming here for awhile. Every time I walk out the door my hair is amazing! We're currently in the process of transitioning colors. Terri's attention to detail is like none other. Always listening and helping me achieve the perfect color for my ever changing hair. To top it off the cuts always feel alive and freeing as she helps me work with my huge head of hair! Terri is fantastic! I've been going to The Head Hunter for 6 years and have been thrilled with the results every time. I originally went in with a "hair emergency" on the recommendation of a friend. Terri fit me in late that day and undid the color (and cut!) disaster from a different salon I'd been to a couple days before. She is amazing with color- she varies my hair with the seasons and my general moods and it is always wonderful! The salon itself is really inviting and comfortable, and the decor is relaxing and fun. And Terri has great people working for her. You just can't go wrong here!

I went in last Friday and asked Randi to cover the grey and blend the grow out. Neither was done. Once I returned home, under the flourecent lights, I realized quickly that my hair was barely touched. I paid $180 and am completely unsatisfied. You can't even tell that I went to the Salon! I went to this place on a referral, so take mine--- go somewhere, anywhere else. Terry, the owner, will not refund me.

She insists that I allow her stylists to fix their errors and pay even more! She also texted me and said she can't "deal" with me until she comes back into the Country! Yet, her stylists could take my cash without her available.

Randy is a Genius! She finally did what I have been asking all of the other stylists in the area to do! She listens extremely well, understands what I am trying to say, and her passion for this industry shines through with both Color And Cut! I just moved to Bainbridge Island from San Diego, and have been trying out places in both Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo.

After spending almost double in Bainbridge Island for so-so experiences with my hair appointments, I was astounded when I found Randy at Such a reasonable price! This salon is truly lucky to have her, as she is doing LA and NY sophistication at seriously inexpensive prices! I have FINALLY found a regular woman to go to for my picky hair needs! She is down to earth, doesn't chat your ear off, and really focuses on the work! The neck massage in the shampoo bowl was also sublime.

I got my hair cut my Myla last week and love it! I have gotten so many compliments on it since. She checked to make sure the length of my hair, layers and bangs were what I wanted and did not seem like she was rushing to get to another customer like some stylists do. I will definitely be back!

I got my hair cut by Randy today. She was probably the most polite and professional stylist I've met. She listened to what I wanted and made some great suggestions, and she even gave me some tips when styling at home. She also didn't pressure me into buying anything that I didn't need or into scheduling out my next appointment. I feel like that's the norm nowadays. She did an excellent job on my hair and I would certainly recommend this place!

Was in recently for my first hair cut in a long time. Myla was my stylist and she was very friendly and professional. She did a great job on my hair. I will be back.

I had Lindsey cut my hair( love her) and as always she did an awesome job! In and out within the hour including style.

Best salon ever! What an awesome team of energetic and professional artists, every time I've been there I find it hard to leave. The best stylists using the best products (they're masters with INOA. yay!) and offering the best energy I've seen in a while. I would recommend this salon to EVERYONE, if you're not here, you're missing out :) Keep the good work ladies!

The worst haircut of my life. Stylist did not listen to what I wanted and cut my hair as she thought it should be cut. I was offered a "free fix" but when its already much shorter (only on one side may I add) than I asked for, no fix is possible unless my hair can be glued back on. When I asked for my money back, I was denied. Consulted other Salon Owners to research their protocol with these cases and a refund for an unsatisfactory haircut is normal when the customer does not opt for the "free fix".

Being new to the area (I'm in the military), I have been hesitant to break down and find a new salon. This is it! I saw Danielle for a cut and color and she was amazing! She listened to me and transformed my idea into the most gorgeous shade of blonde and the cute short cut I have been longing since moving to WA. She will definitely be my new go-to girl. This was my first trip to an Aveda salon and I was definitely impressed!

In case I haven't mentioned I have a thing for Aveda Salons, and the Head Hunter is no exception. I found this little gem through a friend- which is typically how I prefer finding salons. Positive word of mouth recommendations trump flashy marketing plans any day. And when the recommendation is for an Aveda Concept Salon it's a triple thrill for me. It's like I already know they'll be amazing, but then having someone else confirm what I already know makes me kind of giddy.

Since I wasn't too pleased with my last salon misadventure I couldn't wait for my appointment. I made my appointment with Tina because word on the street is she's a hair disaster fixer maven. I brought in my usual pile of pictures and rambled went on and on about long layers, highlights, keeping length but getting rid of dry, split ends. Tina listened and translated my every word into official salon jargon (what level is that lightener again?) with ease and got to work. Even though I no longer live in the area I would highly recommend the Salon as well as Tina. she's awesome!

This place is fun, clean, and the service is top notch! That is about all I look for in a salon and they do it and do it well.
