My favorite nail salon, I've been going here for many years!

I did a walk in for a pedicure. No discussion of what I wanted. Did a basic one and said I was done. Pretty unfriendly. I think since I was an older male they didn't want to deal with me. Service: Pedicures

They had very limited gel selection. I m not happy with result because she did completely different design what I asked her to do and while doing I was telling her its not what I want and she was keep saying wait let me finish and if you dont like tell me and I ended up getting what I dont want and like it. When I asked her to file my nails more she got angry. Not happy with this salon. Not coming back!

I thought I had found the best nail spot and initially, had no issue. I did have some hesitation regarding the sanitization of tools and wondered why they didn't have packets they pulled the tools out of? And why they didn't use a new loofah to get the dead skin off? Spoke to someone outside of the salon that also goes there and they said I had a point but too late!

I have a GREEN BIG TOE and a fungal infection and am now on antibiotics! I also noticed that they used one of their tools to drain the water out of the first chair. Hopefully, they will make the necessary changes that they need to. Nice people but that got me nowhere!

Wonderful clean non-smelly environment. You get greeted immediately and they have the best customer service. Hands down the best in Marin!

The best! I had a terrible experience at another salon (cough, northgate fingers and toes, cough) and ended up needing an appointment right away for an acrylic fill. They took me no problem and did an incredible job, for a fraction of what I would have been charged at that other place. They're friendly, clean and don't make you feel like you're being rushed out. The owner (I can't remember her name but she's great!) greeted me by name and is so lovely. Check out my pic - my nails look awesome!

I love this place. Friendly and efficient. Family owned business whats not to love. Amazing pedicures and right next to my favorite massage place. This nail salon is a gem!

Wonderful service with 2 great women! And Covid safe with clear barriers! Felt 100% safe and would highly recommend! For a regular pedicure and gel manicure it costs $60. Normal price

They're open & you should go! The sweet women make it a calming & lovely time. My feet & legs feel amazing after the almond butter pedicure. In all this craziness, this was a treat!

Our little neighborhood, San Rafael's West End, is fortunate to have La Rose Nail Spa located in it's midst. When I moved here, one year ago, I began asking around for nail spa referrals and kept getting the same name, La Rose. So, I decided to try them out and was happily surprised that I did! Not only are all the people there very friendly and professional, but the salon is always spotless and the services are first class! I am very much looking forward to their reopening!

I can't even begin to tell you how FUN this indulgence has become for me. This is a Mom, and Mom, and Mom shop, where these sisters make you feel like you're listening in on girl's night! OK, you may think it doesn't sound like a guy-thing to do, but their friendliness is a delight. Everything here is done with cleanliness as their top priority!

Every foot bath is done in disposable plastic and the materials they employ are all "one-time use". I feel so fresh and clean every time I come out of La Rose that I am at once happy and uplifted! That's how good it feels for me, especially as a guy who has never been prone to pampering himself. Treat yourself to something wonderful! The Mani-Pedi combo makes you feel brand new, all for 30-someting bucks, plus tip! You'll be transformed!

Love my biweekly pedicures. This place is owned by 3 sisters and they are all great at what they do.

I was overdue for a much needed pedicure and went to my previous nail salon in San Rafael. Fortunately for me, it was closed so I decided to try La Rose Nail Shop on a whim. I walked in and was extremely pleased with the friendly greeting from the staff and the absolute airiness and cleanliness of the salon. Highly recommended!

I have been coming here to see these ladies for a few years now. Tiffany has the most amazing customer service! She makes you feel looked after and her personalization is the best. You really feel valued as a customer here. Literally I can call and say, "Hi Tiffany, It's Beth! I'd love to make an appointment." Being a customer here you really feel like you're a part of a big family.

My mani and pedi always hold up for the 2 weeks that I put between appointments. My eyebrows have never looked better. Tiffany is the only person that I let near my brows. I can't recommend this nail spa enough.

I called and made an appointment at this local business off of 4th street in San Rafael. I love my nails and I met Tiffany the owner. She was super sweet and talented, can't wait to go back and get a spa manicure and pedicure. I love my nails.

I've been coming here for several years. Tiffany, Jeannean and Sam have become just like family. They do a great job for both myself and husband. It's part of our date day, we get our nails done and then go next door for a great massage.

Sometimes you just have to spoil yourself! Even an hour at La Rose is a treat. Someone (I won't mention Alex's name) has been trying for years to cajole me into taking a mini-vacation just blocks from the house. He won me over the first time with a gift certificate. How could I refuse? So I stowed my excess testosterone and came here. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a group cheer.

I felt like I was among friends. I noticed right away how clean the place smelled. fresh, not that chemical smell of some other salons. The big comfortable chairs are spotless and new. The staff used all the protective measures that make for a sterile treatment. Those are the kinds of things that I notice, and that made me more comfortable. The woman who did the mani/pedi was focussed, professional, and gentle. I was able to relax and enjoy the care and technique. When she was all down I saw that an hour had gone by and I felt renewed. I think I'll make it a regular thing.

They use cheap products and they completely ruined my nails for months trying to get the gel off my manicure. It would not come off. Also, the pedi was horrible and I had yellow nails for weeks. The lotion they use is very cheap. The owner does nails, answers the phones, takes payments, etc. without ever washing or sanitizing her hands. They are cheap.

One of the best salons in Marin but dont be late to your appt! They are super busy and will bump you.

The friendliest nail salon I've ever been to! Run by two sisters & their sister in law they are bubbly, fun & always smiling. They gave great recommendations & also a great manicure for $15. Highly recommended.& why not treat yourself to an amazing massage next door too! Also highly recommended.

Great staff, friendly owner. Open on Sundays, which is hard to find in Marin; however, they're closed on Mondays instead. Always a stellar job on my mani/pedi. They don't try to upsell with rose petals in bath salt, etc. Most places do that and before you know it, you're spending over $80-$100 for something that's plain, and you're definitely not leaving smelling like roses. I like to pamper myself every now and then ~ treat yo self! Comfy massage chairs, simple ambiance, nothing fancy. They do a great job every time.

FINALLY IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME! These women are simply customer service superstars****! It seemed nearly impossible to find someone good and people that take extra care to pay attention to the comfort of their customers. These ladies clearly have thought of everything from cheap flip flops, to special protective UV gloves while curing gel nails, all the new colors of OPI, lotion on the tips of your fingers do the glue won't stick, and they are friendly.

Not superficially friendly but genuine people who welcome you into their place of business and client care is number one. My frustration with other salons has been their annoyed reactions if you're a few minutes late when you sit there waiting for them over 15 minutes and then they rush your job to catch up and huff when you have a request to trim an extra cuticle.

Above all, they are so reasonably priced. I would gladly pay more for what they offer and price is never the only concern, it always how well you're treated and LaRose treated us very well! While we were in there, 4 different regulars of ten years or more came in and everyone's nails and toes looked amazing! Highly highly recommend. They are located on Miracle Mile just next to TJ's crossfit. My daughter loves her nails she is more than obsessed they cleaned it up really Nicely I want to come here all the time says my daughter.
