I loved this salon! I got my hair colored (highlights), trimmed, and a detox, and a blow out (which was supposed to be a silk press) because I am natural so she got all the products out with the detox. The only thing was I paid 345.00 for the services which is a little pricy in my book. I had to go back the next day because my hair sweated out a lot she was open and fixed it!

Ms Tanya is a very professional and excellent hair stylist who takes time out to listen to your hair concerns prior to administering your hair care needs. She's very knowledgeable in her business, and takes every client's concerns very seriously. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value I have been going to La'Seviance Hair Spa Salon weekly for over 20 years. The stylist is very professional and always on time. I have worked with many stylist and I have always found Tonya to be creative, artistic in her cuts and an exceptional color chemist. Compared to others her pricing is fair, service is prompt, courteous and she takes her time creating a custom style to make your heart smile when you leave her salon. Over the years I have considered her "a friend" and a specialist with magic hands. I love Tonya! She is AMAZING!

Got my perm here and she did a great job. Perm is still in my hair a year later. Deducting one star because she was the only stylist working on 5 other ladies. Usually my perm only take less than 2 hrs but I was there close to 4 hrs because she was going back and forth from client to the next. I would still come back but definitely make sure I have no other plans for the day.

Tonya has been my stylist for over 15 years. Her knowledge of hair & how to keep it healthy always astounds me! The atmosphere in the salon is always professional & positive. I look forward to my visits because of this! My mother & I drive from Euharlee, GA - over an hour each way! We do this because of the service & standard of excellence we receive EVERY visit!

As a long time client (8 years) of La'Seviance Hair Spa Salon, I have always received exceptional service. I have encountered horrible experiences with other salons and stylists in the past, so when I found Tonya I was so grateful and will never leave her! Tonya is very professional and knowledgeable about hair care. Her slogan is so very accurate, "It's not just a salon, it truly is an experience".
From beginning to end, Tonya goes above and beyond to make sure every client has individualized care and feels special. The knowledge I have gained about my hair has been invaluable! I would highly recommend her and salon to anyone. I promise you will never regret it!

Run away fast. You will be broke as hell with some pretty hair for 3 days. I went once and only once. The stylist had way too much to say about my life, and charged me nearly $100 to wash and blow dry my natural shoulder length (barely) hair. I was born at night, but not last night. Them's crack prices. Nope. Don't do it unless you got money to burn for real.

Tonya is the owner who answers the phones, books appointments, and does hair. She ended up being overly rough (tugging and pulling my hair in an overly aggressive way), then laughing and remarked, I thought you told me you were tender-headed. I replied, I knew you were doing that for that very reason. You see, I had already decided that I would never return to this location, but to make matters even worse, she used hair sheen as a relaxer base, she blow dried and hot ironed my hair-ALL of which I specifically explained that I did not want because my hair is fragile and I do not like the tugging of a blow dryer and the heat from a hot iron.
She gave me water that tasted like it came from a commode, I mean I literally could taste the pipes in the water so I know it was unfiltered and below room temperature, she was highly combative in her interactions with me. Everyone knows that you don't roughly handle wet hair because of frizz and it hurt. Everyone knows that when a client makes a request, not to be come argumentative and then proceed in doing what you want to said client's hair/body.
She wanted to be rough, and unkind and it was obvious. She increased her price from what was quoted on her website as I was planning (before I met her to spend $130 to include a $20 tip on a $110 service), but after the encounter I knew that not only would I never return, but that I would also not be leaving a tip. I gave her a $100, 2 $5's and 5 $1's.
She was so nasty that I even asked her to stop doing my hair and she laughed and said that I needed to trust her. I will not ever go back and the two business cards she gave me begging me to word-of-mouth refer her were torn into pieces and tossed in the garbage with my trash where they belong. I cannot believe that stylists like her exist, but I'm still on the search for a stylist who is about hair care, has a decent personality, and who will listen to what their client wants.
I kept falling asleep while she babbled about why she didn't want to adhere to my requests. I was appalled overall, and here again, I will never pay her do anything else to my hair. To reiterate, she did everything I asked her not to do. If you believe in spraying hair sheen on your scalp in lieu of base for a relaxer, then she is your stylist.
If you believe in heavy-handed rough handling of your hair, she is your stylist. If you believe in a combative disposition, she is your stylist. I will never return, in fact, mid-service, I asked her to stop. The place was empty the entire time I was there, and I now know why. She gave me two business cards which I tore into pieces. As if I would actually refer her. The impertinence of her overall temperament was why I know she will never keep a client long term. She lost me before she even began.

Awesome experience! I have been looking for a hairstylist for quite some time. I was a walk-in/ first time visitor. I went against fear and asked for a haircut in addition to a wash and blow dry. I am more than pleased with the experience. Tonya was rightly confident in her abilities. she had at least four other clients in addition to me and I was so impressed with her work ethic!
She kept everyone moving while providing excellent hair care. It was refreshing to see a hairstylist work and not be on the phone or eating! LOL. I was also impressed with her skills in regard to hair cutting. My cut is precision and has maintained its style through being rained on and sweat from working out. I highly and strongly recommend her services. She has been in the business for years and the experience definitely shows! I will be returning.

For anyone looking for an intelligent and incredibly knowledge stylist then this is the salon to go to! I heard about Tonya from one of her clients who has transformed her hair from damaged to thick, healthy relaxed hair that reaches to her mid back. She told me Tonya taught her how to care for her hair and by following her instructions her hair has thrived.
I was nervous when making the appointment but as soon as I sat down Tonya began to teach me about my hair. Teaching me how I was unknowing causing damage by using the wrong products and techniques at home. She was amazing! Just wanted to let others know about the amazing, Ms. Tonya and her staff at La'Seviance Etc. They are true professionals. Once you've dealt with Tonya, it's easy to see how passionate she is about hair care. She provides quality service. During my consultations (for my hair and my daughter's hair),T onya provided me with a wealth of information.
Her knowledge and advice was truly appreciated. She and her staff greeted us warmly. The shampoo girl, Shawn, is a sweetie. She gives a great shampoo. I liked the fact that she explained what she's going to be doing to your hair and what to expect etc. Tonya is very clear about the prices. No surprises at the end of your service. La'Seviance is now our new home for hair care.
