We are excited to tell you all about Michael Leonard's AVEDA Concept Hair Salon, now celebrating 28 years in business!. Newly married, when the opportunity to open their own salon presented itself they moved from New Jersey and started their life in south Florida. What began as a team of two, quickly grew to the modern, upscale salon business you see today.
Donna, who is also originally from New Jersey, has been a stylist at Michael Leonard's for ten years now, but has always been close to the Michael Leonard's family. Although her favorite is cutting, she also enjoys all aspects of coloring and highlighting. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, softball, and spending time with her daughter and granddaughter. Her regular clients say she is gentle and takes her time. Donna gets to know all of her clients as to improve their overall experience at the salon.
Gail has been happily working at Michael Leonard's for the past 9 years and has been doing hair in this area for 33 years! Gail emigrated from England 40 years ago. She is passionately in love with her profession and how it makes clients feel so much better about themselves. Gail always makes herself available if a client has an emergency, and works hard to fit them in at all times. Outside of work Gail loves to garden and decorate but her special joy is her 6 1/2-year-old grandson!
April, having practiced as a nail technician for 30 years, moved to Florida in 2001 to be closer to her family and began working at Michael Leonard's 13 years ago. She specializes in the Shellac nail system and loves to do acrylics. April is known to be patient, kind, a great listener, and will always welcome a new client. Outside of work, she loves relaxing with her two dogs, going to the beach, and running; in fact, she just completed her first 5k!

I have been using Michael Leonard's since 2006. I have used 4 stylists over that time period (2 relocated and 2 are still there) and been very satisfied with all of them. I find all the employees super nice and that makes the time spent in the salon a pleasure. Prices are what I would expect at a full service salon. I would certainly recommend ML!

For years I was not able to find a hairdresser who will make my color exactly what I wanted. In this crazy, Coronavirus time, I found this place totally spontinious asking my phone for hair salons in Palm City. I called, I was lucky to got the appointment next day! So, I found Anne! I feel like finally, after so many years living in this area, I found my hairdresser who knows what I want, who understand me, and is amazing! Anne is the best!
All employees there are super nice. The girl on reception is amazing, the girl who help with everything and wash hair, she is very nice, very careful, and has great hand to touch people's hair and make head massage I really like this place. And the most important, I feel like I am home.very comfortable.

Great salon for men's and women's haircuts. Excellent staff, clean and socially distant guidelines in place. My stylist was friendly and well prepared. Being from out of town and not knowing which salon to try. I based my decision on Aveda because of all their great products and usually all very talented and knowledgable stylists. I went to Donna S. and we connected right away. she got what I was wanting for color. alternated high and low lights. and it was perfect. She has a technique that is all her own and it was the best I've ever had with a beautiful base color and blended highlights only where I wanted them! Donna S. is just the best! Can't wait to go back. Also. it feels good when you walk in. pretty building and interior.

I was initially pleased with this salon. Upon my third visit, I was given a new operator. I was told that it was my fault because I made a late appointment. I informed them that the appt. was made 6 weeks ago. I confronted the owner, Michael, that had a very aggressive attitude. He told me a mistake occurred, and didn't I ever make a mistake? Then his wife told me the same thing!
I felt that it was my fault. To appease me, Michael, gave me a great 10% off my $100 bill! These people are very unfriendly! Would not return! It is a shame because the technicians are good.

I love going to Michael Leonard's Salon. As soon as you walk in, you are made to feel like a million dollars. You have a delicious herbal tea whilst you chat with the stylist about your hair requirements. I walked in with horrible dry and tangled hair and wanted a color change. they took my color change request seriously (you won't get a consultation that's as detailed as theirs), and where they execute it brilliantly.
I walked out with really soft hair with a rich and vibrant color ( ok simply put. amazing looking hair!) I am now continuing the moisture treatment with the AVEDA dry remedy products. and I love it. Thank you so much. I will be back in 4 weeks!
