I've gotten my hair done and it was excellent, so very neat and efficient. Also she was gentle with my edges and very light handed. I highly recommend!

Woman was very rude and disrespectful to my children mother. She was drinking alcohol while doing their hair. Even left the bottle out in plain view. Even asked said she didn't want the toddler their cause she was annoying. Very unprofessional. They were really unprofessional. The owner was 35 mins late to my appointment. she claimed she overslept! She kept stopping to type and write down scriptures from her pastor! It just wasn't professional at all! She overcharged me, because they haven't had service in a while! And when I asked for a military discount because she has she it hanging on the wall. she told me she had already gave me a good price and the price was 255! They do nice work but it's not worth the price I wouldn't recommend coming here!

I went to this shop years ago and stopped going because of the price being dofferent everytine I went and my braid came out with my hair. I always git NaNa and never accepted anyone els0e. Fast forward to the present I figured I would try it again. I asked for NaNa and was told she doesnt do hair anymore. Was asked how much I wanted to spend and told she would work with me.

I showed up and the girl supposed to do my hair wasn't there so I had to wait. She was a random individual and as always they have random ppl coming to do your hair not certified. I had 12, 12 packs of hair weighibg my head down and nothing like what i asked for! 2 days later the braids were sliding out. If you are paying shop prices you have to have shop level. work period. I don't want to be charged based on your bills are due. Way to expensive for the quality of work

The experience was interesting to say the least. I love my hair but I didn't get the style I wanted because the woman doing my hair made it very clear several times that she was ready to go and that she shouldn't have agreed to do my hair. I didn't complain and asked for something simple because I did walk in 30 mins before they closed so I understood where she was coming from but it did make me feel uncomfortable.

Sure she said it jokingly but I felt the truth behind the joke, especially since she kept repeating it to everyone besides myself. She was very gentle with my hair which was a relief because my scalp is very sensitive. She really did do a good job I just wish for $110 I could have gotten what I wanted. Plus she said styles cost more and I remember thinking this was the reason I started my locs in the first place, so I wouldn't have to pay so much money to get my hair done.

I'm not 100% sure if I will go back. She wants to interloc my hair which sounds cool cause she did a sample in the front and I love it but she explained it cost more and I was already not thrilled about the automatic $85 for a regular retwist so I don't even wanna guess what the interlocing cost Overall I think I might have had a better experience if I would have come earlier in the day. I work until the evening so I'm not sure if that will ever happen but she did do a wonderful job this go round.

For years I have been going to NaNa to style my braids and have been happy with the look and how long my style last. From micros, to box, Senegalese, and kinky twist, I never had a breakage issue. I always leave feeling and looking better than I did when I went in. Depending on the length and style, it may take as less as four to eight hours. For touch-ups I been in and out within one to two hours. There have been times I had to wait but like any other hair salon some days are busier than others but the time was worth it.

I have been going to Nana's Hair Braiding for a few years and every experience is better than the last. The owner, Nana, personally came in to take care of me when I called at the last minute. She is very personable and strives to please her customers. The salon is well kept and clean. I recommend everyone go to Nana's!
