Recently enjoyed a Heaven in Earth package. It was the most pampered I've ever felt. It was a full day of services 10-5pm with a break for lunch. It was perfect. The owner has hired an excellent team that made me feel taken cared of the entire time I was there. Check them out!

I love this place for my massages And I have been going here for about 5 years however lately when I call to schedule. The person that answers the phone has a terrible attitude and I don't ever recall this from the past. I wish I knew the name of the person that use to answer the phones because she was the sweetest and if it's the same person then god bless and I hope all is well with her.

But please new day spa consider training this individual because she makes me regret calling instantly. My brother too called for a massage and i had referred him and I immediately felt so embarrassed how he was treated on the phone. Thanks

I went and got a facial yesterday by Corrine. She did a great job my face felt really good. She told me about products that would help my face. She focused on the acne. She did an amazing job and took her time. I will definitely got back to her. I also got a massage. I forgot the lady name. She did a great job too.

First let's start at the front desk with Penny who was very nice and took my reservation then I met Heather the massage therapist who was Dynamite I enjoyed the massage very much then I went to hair with karolina a wonderful young lady also who did wonders with my hair then Nisa I know I spelled it wrong but a pedicure and manicure I had by her and wonderful conversations with all three I'll definitely be going back for another day of luxury thanks to all ladies

It's not ok for them to massage my pregnant ass without a note from the doctor, but they have no problem ignoring the mask mandate. My thighs hurt constantly. I just wanted a rub. I'm crying.

I've been getting my hair done here many moons now and I highly recommend this salon for all you spa spoiling! The compliments from husband make me blush. Strangers when I'm out and about will comment on how beautiful my hair is. I've never been disappointed. I have fibromyalgia and every one treats me so well that I'm never tense but extremely relaxed when I leave. I've gotten gift cards for other places and I just use those for tipping because no other salon does such a great job. Make an appointment today and enjoy. I was looking to get a pamper service today for my wife on her birthday however, the person who answered the phone had a terrible smug attitude. The kind of, "I don't want to be here today" type attitude. If you know that your facility is basically not providing nail or massage services today, then lead with that once you get back on the phone after rudely putting someone on hold instead of, asking and having a person explain what service they would like to make an an appointment for.

Would of been our first time, heard, and read great reviews but if your attitude is like that on the phone one can only assume it will be worse in person. Fortunately, good to find this out now as we were considering wedding packages in the future. And we have a BIG wedding party. Sorry but, politeness and professionalism goes a very long way in our book and for us, it starts when you pick up the phone.

So disappointed with my cut. I have gotten better for $25 not $135.

I brought my elderly mother in for a massage and a haircut. Let's just say she had some issues, however, everyone at New Day was kind, compassionate and understanding to both my mother and me. Lynn, cut/colored her hair and exuded unbelievable patience, as well as Simone (?) who performed the massage. They acted like a loving, concerned family. So happy with their services as well. Thank you to all!

Definitely a 5 for Niza the nail tech. She is friendly, calm, and a great conversationalist. Receptionists are hit or miss when it comes to service. There is one that is super rude and condescending. All the others are friendly. During a pandemic, they allow visitors to come in with the guest. For example, men are in the salon area hovering over the hair stylist while their woman gets their hair done.

These additional guests should not be allowed. How is everyone supposed to relax? Last weekend, my credit card was charged twice. Receptionist that took my card was too busy chatting it up with other folks.

I had an amazing experience I treated myself to a spa day with their package deal it was great quality I received a massage from Heather, she was ready and waiting when I got there, a facial from Tricia that was so relaxing and my face feels amazing and I got a pedicure literally the best pedicure I've had like ever had from darling Miss Veronica. Everybody was kind and professional

The stylist and salon are absolutely amazing. As soon as you walk into the door you are greeted with smiles and hellos to make you feel welcomed. The atmosphere is upbeat and fun. Every client who sits in a stylists chair is made to feel like apart of the family at New day and each one leaves smiling. Each and every person that works at New day is kind, sweet, respectful, energetic, and talented.

The salon itself is clean, warming, stunningly decorated, and spacious. The owners are one of a kind and accommodating to not only their staff but clients as well. Whatever you need they never hesitate to make it happen. Highly recommend New day spa salon!

I'm not usually one to write reviews but I have to say how impressed I was by the day spa and my stylist Lindsey. I was greeted with a smile and taken care of right away. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly people. To top it my experience with Lindsey was phenomenal. I came in with orange hair and came out a beautiful blonde. I was so impressed that I brought my daughter who had colored her hair with box color and she was about 5 different colors. Lindsey spent the time to correct her color and it came out beautiful. It wasn't an easy project but she put all her time and excellent knowledge into it. I would highly recommended her and the spa!

This is a wonderful Day Spa with a professional, & friendly team of ladies! Everyone at the facility cares and makes sure your experience is amazing. We had haircut, color, wraps, massages, everything was relaxing and exceeded our expectations. We will be going back! A huge thank you to Lynn, Sarah, Gina, and Sandra for our unforgettable experience.

I've been coming here for a while throughout the years. Staff is very friendly. I love there appointment reminder calls. PAM is my girl she's amazing at what she does. My hair was a mess and so damaged before her. Now she's the only one who touches my hair. Definitely recommend them.

Do not let the less the friendly voice on the phone stop you from patronizing this establishment. Receptionist in the evening was VERY nice when I walked in for my 6pm appt. I received my no-chip manicure with a Paraffin Was treatment, and fell in love with this place! Jessica my nail tech is SUPER friendly and did an AMAZING job. Place is clean, relaxing and over all just a nice friendly establishment. I will be going back and trying out there other services in the very near future.

Love this salon. I go for the many expert services provided, ranging from my hair, up do's, manicures and pedicures.

I went in for a one hour massage because my back was a little tense. I talked with the therapist prior to my massage and we talked about my areas of need and my goal for the session. The massage was below average, she wasted about 20 minutes "applying pressure" to my neck and stretching my body but there was really no effect. I would have preferred more hand movement.

She hardly spent any time on my back and I was not feeling a big difference in my soreness. Addition, she left the oil from the massage on my body rather than wiping it with a warm wet towel. Usually I would rate a massage from here 4/5 because I've been to better spas, but this one was about a 2. Afterward, we had a conversation about how to stay relaxed. On the upside, I had my hair and makeup done last year there and really liked it. I even opened up the salon 20 minutes early for me to accommodate my appointment.

Such an amazing experience at New Day Salon! I booked hair and makeup appointments for my bridal party, myself, and my mother in law for my wedding this month. The staff was so warm and friendly, even came in early to ensure everyone got their hair and makeup done before we needed to get back and take pictures. And wow! Everyone looked incredible. and I loved my hair and makeup that Ashley did for me.

The owners also let us bring drinks and snacks to kickoff the day! It was such a perfect start to the best day of my life. It was affordable too! Most of the time for weddings, especially if you're standing up, you get charged up to $90 for hair and $75+ for makeup. New Day makes the whole experience actually affordable with their prices and the result is drop dead gorgous--for everyone.

They even put in little flowers in all my bridesmaids' hair that I got my from florist! My sister also used New Day Spa for her wedding. Highly, highly recommend. Such wonderful stylists and staff members, the customers there too--it's like the "Cheers" of salons! Thanks so much!

I have never heard of this place until my boyfriend bought me a gift card here. I have had the regular mani, mini-mani, pedicures, and a few facials done. Everything has always been great, but I recommend the mini mani rather than the regular mani because you just can't beat the price. By the reason I come back here is because of the facials, I have had problem adult acne for as long as I can remember and this is the only place that clears up my skin.

As a student, I still have flare ups and come in here every so often to have them take care of it. I have tried other facials in the area and nobody does them like here. If you have problem skin especially with acne, whiteheads etc, don't go anywhere else, but here! The only down fall is the price, I wish it was cheaper, as a student I wish they would have deals so I could go more often.

Gave this salon 3 tries. First visit was good while the last 2 were bad. Had another stylist not quite get the highlights right. I'm being polite. Let's put it this way- if she was flying a plane, she would of missed the runway entirely! Seriously! Let's get to the part where the toner chosen was a terrible one.the stylist didn't even check the second time to see it didn't take. Thankfully the prices are very fair except for the products. I had to go get my hair done elsewhere to make it right.

Came here last min to get a pedicure. Lithuanian lady is such a positive and happy person. All staff was super friendly. Thank u sooooo much

Had a great experience with Gina for a Brazilian. She was efficient and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be coming back!

Got an eyebrow wax which was done very well by Gina and I was happy with the results. I went to pay but they refused to let me tip on my credit card. When I suggested that they change their system to allow for tipping, the woman running the reception desk came back at me with attitude saying "Well, that's not how we do things here." I had to walk over to Walgreens, get cash back, then walk back over just to give Gina a tip for her hard work. I doubt I will be back again despite the good job. I can go somewhere else that treats their customers right from start to finish.

I have been going to new day spa for my haircuts and styling for about 8 yrs now. I always have Michael and for a reason. he is fantastic. he knows how to cut my hair so well that it always looks good even as it is growing out! I work in retail and barely a week goes by without someone asking me for his number. on top of all that he and the staff are the nicest people you can come across. you can trust them with your hair! I hope I never loose him as my stylist.

Take your Brazilian somewhere else! Ouch! They burned me so bad with the wax it took me weeks to heal. Unprofessional and very unsanitary. The women had me sit up which caused me to flinch more and when the wax didn't remove properly she blamed me for flinching! Any professional knows that is not the way to position someone. She also used baby powder before applying the wax, what a mess!

I wanted to walk out of the room so many times but thought I could just tough it out. Never again, I felt so foolish. I only visited there once and after that experience I would never subject myself to that again. I could go on but I think you get the idea. Beware of Gina* The front desk was nice.

Went to get my eyebrows waxed by Gia. She started to wax my eyebrows without even asking me what I wanted. She then proceeded to insult my eyebrows, skin, acne, etc. during the appointment. She was very rude and condescending to me. Then when I looked ay my eyebrows when she was done one of my eyebrows was almost gone! One looked great I have no idea what she was thinking on the other.

And when she saw my look of shock she said "don't worry you can always grow them back". I have been getting my eyebrows done for years and this was the worst waxing experience I have ever had. NEVER let Gia touch your eyebrows

I go to New Day for everything! I used to go to Mario Tricoci's Downtown but it was a hassle when I needed my hair done on weekends. I switched to New Day 3 years ago. Love, Love, Love! My Best Friend got married November 1st and the whole bridal party got their hair, makeup, facials, everything taken care of. I've tried at least 5 different stylists and they were all wonderful, and the prices were just right! I go for a blowout at least 3 times a month.

After a catastrophe with another salon on Thursday, I called New Day on Friday and told them I have a hair emergency and my wedding is next week. They were able to squeeze me in the same day with a lovely stylist named Keith. What a miracle worker! Keith highlighted and toned my hair and there is no trace of the awful highlight job I got the day before.

He was funny and nice, but not incredibly chatty asking every detail of my life, which was appreciated. Keith and I are going to be friends for a long while. If you are a new customer, remember to bring cash for a tip as they do not allow you to tip on the card. I think they made an exception for me because it was my first visit, but its good to know for the future.

Let me tell you about the three times I went here. First time: High school prom updo. I was very happy with this experience. I had no idea what I wanted done and the stylist told me to trust her judgement. I did and it was absolutely fabulous. Second time: Came here to get a massage. I had a back injury a year prior to this and also had a lot of stress in my life at that point.

My mom decided I needed to relax and a massage would be a good way to do that and work out my back. The masseuse (sp?) rubbed me the wrong way (no, not literally). Right off the bat she said I was too young to get a massage because I didn't have any stress yet since I'm not an adult, and apparently adults are the only ones that could have stress (I was a 19 year old college student. Really?).

After that comment, I didn't really want a massage anymore, but I went through with it anyway. I guess she did okay but I was too upset to enjoy it. Third time: My mom decided to treat me to a haircut and color. My hair is dark brown/black and I asked for a lighter, almost caramel color. Just something to warm it up for the Spring season. What I ended up with was hair color darker than what I had, if you can imagine it. I'm talking jet black.

And the haircut wasn't good either. My bangs were cut straight across and my hair was cut the same way. I looked like an anime girl. It was horrible. I asked her about the color and she said "Oh it will lighten up in a few days. It just always looks dark to begin with." Um, do I look like an idiot? That's not how hair color works, sweetie.

I had to go get that "color out" stuff to take away the color which turned my hair orange/blond. Then I had to get a box color and put it back to my normal shade. My hair was horribly damaged for a while. I'm glad other people have had good experiences here, but there's no way I'm going back.

I'm surprised there are only 2 reviews here, I mean they have won awards. (no matter how sarcastic that sounded it wasn't) This place is nice. I only go here for one reason. NICOLE. She is great. I have known her for years and she really listens to you. To be honest I wouldn't be going here if she wasn't there. The salon isn't bad or anything, but it is a drive out to the burbs that I can otherwise avoid.

The salon is cute and clean, and the costumers are mostly "soccer moms". Sometimes these soccer moms can be annoying. I feel like the front desk girls are annoyed and rude when on the phone but when you walk in, they are sweet and greet you with a smile. This is understandable in a way considering that they are probably answering the annoying phone all day.

I relate. Like I said, I wouldn't be going here if it wasn't for Nikki, and when she goes on maternity leave I will have to go somewhere else. :( I also had my eyebrows done here & it was pretty nice. The girl was very nice & knew what she was talking about. The shampoo girls are great too. Good place to go if it's within your reach. Everyone young and old walks out with a cute hair style.

Here's my story: In May 2008 I made an appointment for myself and my bridesmaids to have our hair done at New Day Spa. In the time between May 2008 and Feb 2009 I called New Day Spa twice to make changes to the appointments. During these three separate occasions there was no mention of a deposit being required.

On Feb 25, 2009 Laurie, the owner, called me to inform me that a deposit was required in order to secure the appointments. I was surprised to have been told I needed to put money down because a deposit was never mentioned in the past. I looked on the website to see if information existed about a deposit, but nothing was listed. No written contract was given to me stating that I needed to pay a deposit.

I am not sure why a deposit wasn't asked of me the day I made the appointments. If it was, then this situation wouldn't exist. As it stands currently, a verbal contract between myself and New Day Spa was broken. What upsets me the most is the fact that this issue has put me in a difficult situation. Now, less than 3 months before my wedding (on a holiday weekend), I need to find a new salon to do hair for six people.

It should also be noted that I tried to resolve this situation between myself and the owner through email, but a response was not given by the owner. So, I was forced to turn to the BBB. In an economic time like this, I am shocked to experience such unprofessional behavior from a business.
