Here's the thing: I really like this place. There is a ton of potential, but they really just need to touch up things. That's all. There's some chips, rust, ect but those things are easy to maintain. The room is very cozy and really is pretty. I think a little overpriced for what you get. Around $200 a night but you'd expect the level of a high-end hotel, but that isn't this place.

No coffee in the room, TV didn't work right away, some cracks/stains on the walls, rust on the lamps, no usb plugs for phones/outlets near bed, and the hot tub wouldn't stop dripping after the first use, and breakfast was meh. Dunkin is down the road. But again, very easy fixes. I would 100% stay again, I had a great time, staff was friendly and the place has a lot of charm to it. I recommend if you're looking to explore Mystic as it's 15mins away.

The rooms are small with not many outlets or places to sit things. Cute exterior and atmosphere. The deluxe continental breakfast was terrible. There were a few bagged bagels and an almost empty tub of cream cheese. Cute place but doubt I'd stay again.

Last minute overnight. Great location. Overall decent stay. Needs to have blackout curtains instead of blinds only too much outdoor lighting filtered in. Kept waking up due to it. Also coffee brewer and coffee were present in room but no cup or fixings to make it. The best part was it was available last minute on a Saturday night.

What a diamond in the rough! When you pull up you feel like its the middle of nothing but the complimentary champagne, cookies, and limo to Foxwoods Casino made it a delightful find! The memory foam mattresses are super comfortable, the firepit was very charming, the rooms were a good size and the price was exactly right! Let's not forget the Bath & Body Works bath supplies!

We booked a room here because of location, close to the coast and the casino. After a long day of fishing my husband and I wanted to come back to the room get some rest and head out to the casino. The lady in the lobby was very friendly, check in was easy. Get to the room, very small room, just barely managed to be able to fit a king size bed in there.

The bathroom was disgusting, ring around the toilet bowl. The part to turn on the jets in case you did want to take a bath was broken. There was trash under the bed. The carpet was nasty. We didn't even want to get ready in there to go out to the casino, which we didn't. Really disappointed, almost $130 (non refundable) my husband's bday also. Left as soon as the sun came up.

Everything was fantastic! Not far from Foxwoods, limo service offered to/from casino on Friday's and Saturday's. Rooms are cozy & clean, jacuzzi is always a plus, location is fairly quiet. Will definitely return.

First thought was wow! Cheap room! We arrived around 1030pm. Check in was easy. Found the room. Outside looked great! Walked in the room and was hot with the smell of weed immediately. Looked up at the ceiling and found what appeared to be mold as well as a burned out smoke detector? Could have totally been more mold. Toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month.

We completely contemplated just leaving that night. Decided to stay and bear the night. Walls are paper thin, rowdy guests on either side of us. Sounded like someone was moving furniture around at midnight. Never again. What an utter disappointment!

The front desk staff and limo driver were very friendly and attended to our needs quickly. Location is just off of a round about. Noise minimal while we were there. There was an issue with the original room and were moved within 5 minutes of making front desk aware. Rooms were nice to an extent. Some newer furniture and pictures but still needs some updates and housekeeping needs to be more thorough when cleaning.

Arrived a lil earlier than check in which is @ 4 was able to check in 45 min sooner which was nice but the lady at the counter is clearly not a people person and was very un pleasant. we got the luxury king bed whirlpool tub was okay didn't keep the water hot and the jets were loud. Room was very spacious which was nice. No black out curtains just blinds.

Bed could be a lil softer. Felt I over paid $250 for one night during off season and during the week was just to much don't think I will be able ever again if the rate is lower might be worth it only reason I chose the place was because it had a jacuzzi tub and honestly was that great. Bellismo grandes hotel one was better.

Not bad for the night we were there. Pictures are next day. We found our room clean. It could certainly have some extra pillows and blankets available in the room. I'm assuming I could have called the office, but it was just one night. I just cranked the heat up a bit. Bathroom and jet tub was fine, but the towels available at the hotel were pretty tiny.

Breakfast offered was limited, but me than adequate for the two of us till we got up and going. Greatest perk of the place was that we were able to take our two small dogs. Is also very close to the casino. Overall, we would return if needing a room in the area. No major complaints.

**ACCURATE REVIEW 1/17/22** This room was great. Ample parking. Very spacious and VERY clean. Easy and friendly check-in and check-out. Upon entering, the place was unexpectedly warm, clean, spacious and welcoming. Recent reviews really shed bad light and I want readers to see that this place is actually pretty good - I'll DEFINITELY be back.

We got a king bed suite with a jetted tub. Huge clean bed, a fridge, amply counter space and power outlets. Heated wasn't a problem and no smell. Overall clean and inviting. The jetted tub had its own spacious room and controls were located on the wall. It wasn't a brand new system, but it all worked great and was very glad to see how clean it was.

The Jets were very powerful and it did the job for great R N R and some romance. Other pictures showed black residue left behind in the tub and I can attest, nothing but a clean tub left after 3 uses. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Standup shower and water pressure was fine. The place is great in my book and I'll definitely be back. If it helps, room 104 One star lost only because the closet wasn't an easy find and 0 coat hangers. It's more comical than anything but if that's the ONLY bad, this place is still a winner.

It really has become dumpy. Seems as if they may be possibly turning more towards housing government subsidized welfare recipients. I've seen 2 or possibly 3 units their that looked very "lived in". I was wondering if anyone might know?

Please believe these Yelp reviews. This place really really needs an update. An indoor renovation. A better clean option. I can handle a few bugs given the location but there are strange stains that make me feel a little some way (like bringing my own sheets kind of way). I only say the pro of this place is the nice staff, and the ability to bring your dog without a fee. Honestly this may be the reason why this place seems to be crumbling down.

It might have been nice in the 90s.80's? If you like the nearby casino it seems to be a cheap option since they limo chauffeur you there from this place. This being the "cheap" option for me was still too much on the online websites. I hope you don't spend as much as I did for a night.

Several things led to my 1 star rating. It would have been 0 but the one saving grace was the quick response from the staff to address a couple of my complaints 1 hour after check-in. Upon checking-in, my girlfriend and I noticed several oversights as far as house keeping us concerned. 1). There were hand and forearm prints all over the bathroom mirrors including over the spa tub, no doubt form a previous couple engaging in "intimate" acts. 2). Toilet was left used and uncleaned after the previous occupants had left. 3). Closets were obviously never swept out and what appeared to be dead bugs littered the floor and corner areas. 4).

The rooms windows were left ajar and while the permanently installed "portable" de-humidifier was running constantly, the rooms bed felt damp to the touch from the humidity in early July. 5). The television did not work when we got here. The repair was as simple as unplugging the cable box and plugging it back in luckily. The ultimate reason for this poor review, is my girlfriend and myself just returned home from dinner and while getting ready for bed we noticed the jet tub.

We utilized the tub prior to our dinner date, and mind you, we took showers prior to our bath. What is in this photograph are no doubt, contents from within the jet system. we took showers again after seeing this. If you plan to stay here, bring your own Clorox. $816 dollars for a Tuesday-Saturday Stay. NOT IMPRESSED

A group of moms and daughters for a dance comp at Foxwoods. Hotel is old and tired- which could've been fine & a great value but. The rooms (floors) were dirty, damp, some smelled like smoke, the breakfast vending area smelled like a litter box and one set of sheets had blood stains on them. When I asked front desk to change stained sheets I got attitude AND NO CLEAN SHEETS! Unless the "new" set had a blood stain in the exact same spot? I have pretty low standards as I tent camp A LOT and this place is yucky.

Upon arriving, we saw workers on the balcony of the guest services building smoking. No one wearing masks. When we walked into our room, it smelled like someone was smoking in the room. We discovered no outlets in the room other then what the refrigerator and tv was plugged into. We had to buy a cheap power strip in order plug things in and air fresheners just so there was something other then whatever they were smoking in the room.

There is black mold in the bathroom and thick dust webs throughout the bathroom and the bedroom area. More so above the bed. We hand to take the screen off to pull the windows shut as the cranks did not work. The jacuzzi tub had broken parts to it. And for us we prefer to sleep with it dark in our room but the parking lot lights prevented any sleep for us. The room was so bright it was if we left all the lights on in the room. Never again will we stay here. We will never recommend staying here to anyone.

Moldy and disgusting rooms. Not worth the cost for the whirlpool rooms. Everything is rundown and needs a touch up & a DEEP DEEP clean. Not sure they take covid protocols seriously, saw staff with masks off constantly and someone cleaning a room while smoking a cig. Serious mold problem in the rooms is the main issue, but also everything else in the room is either outdated, dirty, run down, or just not working (and in most cases, multiple of those adjectives). Tried to talk to customer service about concerns but they never responded. Take my advice and stay elsewhere; it will probably be both cleaner and cheaper too!

For the love all good do not rent this place. Limo is horrible and looks like it's 20 years old. Barely started properly. Room heat is terrible and one side of the bed is against the wall. The beds are a terrible hard material. The outdoor fire place is a joke and television is Roku that barely works. I will admit the breakfast area is not as bad as all else and the staff is friendly. If you want to party and your not worried about a comfortable stay then maybe. If your looking for a decent hotel stay away.

Pros: Loved the free limo to Foxwoods and Abe, the driver, was great. It was super convenient, and a lot of fun! Loved the free champagne and chocolate in the lobby. Small free continental breakfast offered. Room had a mini fridge and they put champagne on ice in there for us which was great. The jacuzzi tub did work and the water got nice and hot but. Cons: we couldn't actually use the jet part of the jacuzzi because it was so loud and we were on the second floor, we were very worried about the people underneath us.

When we got to the room, the TV was completely broken. Wires were hanging off of the wall, the cables were not plugged in. My boyfriend had to take the TV down, completely rewire it, it took over an hour just to make it work. It was ridiculous. There was a pair of dirty shorts underneath the bed from the previous guests from who knows when. It was so gross.

We tried to open the window, and then we could not shut it - we had to take the screen out to pull the window back in to close it. The room was a really unusual layout and in terrible condition - wallpaper was peeling, Jacuzzi tub was chipped and SO LOUD, very few room amenities (Bring your own alarm clock, USB adapter, coffee maker.), very very dated, bed was very hard, front desk staff when I checked in was not very pleasant -however, the one who was there when I checked out was very kind.

The shower in the bathroom is one that you would find in an old gym or college dorm. Barely big enough to stand in, just a curtain, it was really bizarre. Overall, it was an OK experience but I'm not sure I would go back. It's very convenient to Foxwoods and the limo was great, but for the price of the room, the room itself was pretty terrible.

I was appalled by the condition, broken TV, wires everywhere and lack of amenities (I cannot remember the last time that I saw a hotel room without an alarm clock. Or a clock of any kind). Even the time on the microwave was off by about seven hours and blinking on and off. Maybe I would stay during the week if it were considerably cheaper and a last resort.

I would not get the smoking room again as I am guessing this is why that particular room was as bad as it was. However, I still paid as much as a regular room, so I would expect it to be as nice as any other room. I'm hoping the others are nicer than the one we had. I would recommend it for people who have pets though, as it is a pet friendly inn. Eh.

I stayed here for one night in July. Originally, I wanted a room right on the beach in Misquamicut, but in addition to being expensive every hotel/motel wanted a minimum of two nights. After looking in surrounding towns I came across Cedar Park. The reviews seemed to be generally good so we gave it a shot. I'm glad we did! We got a jacuzzi room even though we didn't get to use the tub. The room was big, clean, & comfortable. The price was reasonable & they had a decent breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

They have made a lot of improvements at this establishment since my last visit about two years ago. They have nicer staff and offered free champagne, homemade cookies and sparkling water at the check-in area.

Pros: Limo service was amazing, the driver was awesome and so nice. The lobby was newly renovated and made me feel like it was going to be a clean place. The breakfast food was mediocre, but free and good options. Also a good location in regard to Foxwoods. Cons: well, the television was hard to use so I was looking for a TV guide/directions to put it in on in the drawers.

I opened up the drawer next to one of the beds to find 2 already eaten SHRIMP SHELLS. I was disgusted. As the night went on, the room was just so dirty it only looked like room service made the beds. Not impressed.

PET OWNERS: MAKE SURE TO BRING TICK REPELLENT AND/OR HAVE YOUR PET WEAR A TICK COLLAR - We were there for just one night and found 5 on our dog and my husband found one on his pants as we came in from our walk. Other than that, place was not bad. We saw the reviews, but just needed a one night that was pet friendly and close to Foxwoods. Limo driver was great (less than 10 min away) - breakfast very continental - place definitely needs an update, the reason for the 3 stars - cleanliness I would say 4 out of 5 (no cobwebs or dead bugs for us). For a one night stay, not bad at all.

Cedar inn park and whirlpool.newly renovated in 2018. Luxury rooms with a jacuzzi tub. Sounds nice; and at a reasonable price too! We arrive, check in, and go on a mission to find our "non-smoking" room. We finally find it, and open the door with excitement. No sooner that excitement QUICKLY turned into disappointment. It has a lingering smell of cigarettes, the tub is DISGUSTING.

The tile on the floor is dirty and falling apart. Base boards are falling off. The 24" tv on the wall has cords hanging and looks very sloppy. The counter top in the bathroom was stained yellow. There's no trash can in the bathroom, a beer bottle cap on the floor and a damprid bucket laying on its side under the bed. Back to the jacuzzi tub. the jets had soap scum/mildew around the edges.

There was soap scum and water drips on the shower walls, and it was clearly not cleaned because when I turned on the jets it looked like we poured bubble bath in there; and we didn't. Needless to say, it wasn't used by us! I joked with my husband that I feel like I was in my high school boyfriends basement bedroom at his parents. If you know what's good for you. DON'T stay here! Pay the extra $ to stay in a nicer hotel. The place is a "luxury" Motel.

We booked the day before via Hotels.com and since I had an account got 15% off their list price for $84/night. Much cheaper than the $400-500+/night in the main Foxwoods Casino! We weren't expecting much given the ratings across all platforms. The place was fine and each room is clustered in a unit of 3-4 rooms. They let us know about the complimentary limo service from the location to Foxwoods every half hour and back until 2AM.

Great news now we could go out and actually enjoy ourselves. They also offered free breakfast the next morning, which includes your basics. Juice, cereal, and even a Belgian waffle maker. The room we had was a strange mix of random updates and very outdated fixtures. The bed was a gigantic Swedish tempur-pedic mattress as promised with embedded lights on the headboard.

Then you've got the weird smells from the rest of the room that looks like it hasn't been renovated since the early 90s. There were also 2 fridges, one full sized and a mini. The bathroom in particular stank of mildew so we closed the door. There was also a light next to the shower/bathtub which kept flickering. We didn't try the bath but they had the jets too. Overall the place seemed clean aside from the smell.

I had a really nice time here! We booked very last minute and ended up really liking everything! The room was outdated with the decor but very clean. And the bed was great, an amazing king size temperpedic mattress! There was also a large jacuzzi bathtub that was really nice after being out in the cold. The free limousine pick up and drop off service to the casino was a nice added bonus. The breakfast was bagels and waffles and juice, nothing fancy, but not bad and the man at the front desk was nice. Just what you'd expect out of this place.

If I could give this "motel" less than 1 star, I would. I booked this room through hotels.com last week, and I am still waiting for a refund after spending less than an hour on the property. We were not looking for the Ritz, but just a clean room to lay our heads for the night. BEWARE of this establishment! Upon check-in, the lobby smelled badly of stale urine.

This should have been my warning. We got to our "non-smoking" room, I asked why it smelled like stale cigarettes. Ed replied with "it's a non-smoking room." Lightbulbs were burnt out, there was hair in the towels, flies, used chapstick and someone's dirty clothes in the closet. To top it all off, the toilet was broken! 10 minutes in, I was so grossed out that I called the front desk and asked for a different room.

On our way to the other room, we saw what seemed to be a prostitute chain smoking in her fishnets and people burning garbage. Wonderful. Angel brought us to the other room which at first glance, seemed okay. It was definitely cleaner than the last room. I started to draw the jacuzzi tub and brown water started to come out of the jets and make an awful loud sound. Then, the fire alarm went off in the room.

I went to the front desk, explained that we would need a refund. Angel said, absolutely, that it would be done on Monday. It is now Thursday. I finally was able to speak with her where she said there would not be any refund. I was on the property for less than an hour! DO NOT STAY HERE! We ended up getting a room 5 minutes away at La Quinta that was very clean & with an indoor pool & breakfast

Oh my. It's bad and ugly. Foxwoods and Mohegan charge at least $450/night; It's way too much, but driving home in the dark after being persuaded to imbibe alcoholic beverages is a terrible plan. Enter a $150-200/night hotel. With a shuttle. Hooray! Or nay. Buyer beware. First stop: The "lobby." It stinks. It's dusty. It's Unorganized and the "cashier" has zero personality, excitement or initiative to assist.

My room. Oh, the room. The bed has no dust ruffle. Ok, I guess. Not a deal breaker, but not a friendly look. The carpet is not clean. The landing area outside the door is dirty and probably has not been landscaped in 3-5 years. Coffee pods to brew coffee-no cups. Ice bucket-filled with trash. Bottom line. Buyer beware! If you don't HAVE TO, don't. It's not the worst place in the world. Ok. it might be. I'm going to work a few extra shifts to erase this memory of this charge. Signed, a seriously bummed out consumer.
