I usually have a great experience here but I went there last week for my first haircut in over a year. I had been growing my hair out for 2.5 years and was excited for a new haircut and I was very clear about what I wanted and keeping the length. Michele decided to cut off 6-8 inches and didn't listen to the hairstyle I wanted whatsoever. My hair looked great when I left but after one wash it looks choppy and nothing like what I asked for, not to mention she decided for me that my hair was "too long." I will go back to Nuovo but will never see Michele again. Definitely not worth $75 or ruining 2 years worth of growth :

My daughter and I love Candice at the 1st Street Salon. She is awesome and I love that she is super stylish. Also, the hair dye's and shampoo are chemical free. Good for me, good for the environment. Lastly, they always have hot tea and coffee! Beautiful salon too!

I had a great experience with Marissa. I got a cut and conditioning treatment. I felt very comfortable with her, she addressed my concerns, and did what I asked. This was my first trip to a salon in over 20 years. I had just cut and combed out 10 year old dreadlocks and my hair was damaged. She was knowledgeable and friendly and I'm quite happy with my hair. I highly recommend her.
