After moving from out of state I never thought I'd find someone that I trust 10000% on my hair. Then I met Crystal. Crystal not only killed it on my hair color and cut, but completely revived my hair with the T18 treatment. If I could give more than 5 stars I undoubtably would. Services: Haircut, Hair coloring

I was in a desperate need for a cut and color and decided to go here one day back in August of 2021. Payton was my stylist. I have been a return client ever since. She has yet to disappoint me and when she is unsure of how to do something with my style she doesn't wing it, she asks for guidance and I appreciate that so much. My cuts and colors have been soooooooo dope.

She understands my visions. She actually listens and cares for your hair. She is such a loveable person and I actually enjoy talking to her during my appointments. 20/10 will always recommend Payton!

Crystal is amazing! I've been looking for a good hair stylist for 3.5 years in Lexington and I finally found her! Payton Smith is my go-to girl for eyelash extensions! I tell everybody about her! She is patient, caring, professional, and always does an amazing job. I am also looking forward to a makeup tutorial from her soon. Payton goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Great experience!

Crystal is AMAZING! I had been on a long search for the perfect stylist and I found her! She did a color correction that turned out gorgeous - she really knows what she is doing! This is really a two-part review - I've gotten several haircuts by Lauren and they've all been wonderful. My hair always looks so fabulous once she's done with it - my layers are blended well, my bangs are exactly how I like them, and the style lasts several days. I would give my hair experience at Planet five stars. However, I got my nails done a few months ago and I was very disappointed.

I got a gel manicure and a basic pedicure. The pedicure was fine, but the manicure really, really was not. My nails were uneven, the gel was lumpy, and the manicure lasted less than a week before entire nails started peeling off. I'll keep coming back for a haircut and style with Lauren, but I'll be staying away from mani/pedis.

My hair was in bad, bad shape. So damaged and broken. I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted, just a general idea and the lady I worked with helped me a lot. I got haircut(very thorough), highlights w/toner, and a strengthening deep conditioning treatment. I also got some shampoo and conditioner to help with the damage, a hair mask and some styling cream.

Crystal did an amazing job on my hair. She saved a terrible color job I had done the week before. I literally had a greenish tinge from a too ashy toner and my root touch up was so much darker than the blonde I went in with. It was the most botched up experience at a professional salon I'd ever had. Crystal came to the rescue and my hair is the best it's ever looked in term of color. She is a true artist/scientist when it comes to color. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Had daughters make up done for prom. It was horrible. The foundation did not match her skin tone and looked like a dark eyed raccoon with black eye brows. Then they wanted us to wait and hour after make up to do hair. My appointment was supposed to be back to back. I paid for the horrible make up job and left. She came home and washed her face. $65 wasted. But we managed to do her own make up and hair. But was so disappointed this fun time of getting pretty was ruined.

Do not waste your money on this place. When you book online it gives you a price for the services but once you go in they bring back a sheet of paper to sign with a much higher price. I scheduled a full highlight, cut and style, which when booking it said $157.fine. Get in the chair and we discuss what I want, she walks away and comes back with a price of $211.

Plus she wasn't going to do full highlights, just a few extra underneath instead of a full highlights. So now I'm paying more for less services. It wasn't really about the money but it was the Principle.the ole bait and switch. Needless to say I got up and walked out. Prices are already outrageous here in Lexington. Hell I'll drive 20 minutes down the road to give my business to honest establishments.

LOVE this place! Austin is a true artist and created a stunning hair style for me. Watching this sweet, talented guy carefully sculpt my hair felt like watching an artist working on his art piece. The entire staff is friendly and professional. Clean and vibrant vibe with the music videos playing on the TV screens. They also provide spa services and I may book a deep tissue massage next. As far as my hair cuts, Austin is now my go to stylist!

It was my first time at the salon and I had a great experience. The price was reasonable and everyone was so nice and welcoming. Love my new hair and I will be back

I moved to KY from TN and was so nervous to find someone to wax my eyebrows because I just like them to look a certain way. I tried out Planet Salon and Spa for the first time and was a little disappointed with my experience. I decided to go back just to give them one more try & I am so glad I did! TINA is the best when it comes to getting your eyebrows waxed!

I have been several times now and specifically ask for her. She's so sweet and talks to you so it's not so awkward when she's right in your face. Definitely will continue to come here as long as she is working there!

Really loved this place. It's a little on the expensive side but they are very upfront about it. I called in last min and they were able to get me in that day. Rachel colored and cut my hair and she perfectly matched what I was looking for. I'll be back again. but I'll have to hope for friends and family to give me gift certificates. it definitely more expensive than other places

Was WAY overcharged for hair services and never given an explanation or itemized statement. More than DOUBLE what I usually pay. Same stylist, holiday time. She got that extra money but lost a good client. Yes, it's been a minute-I'm hoping karma caught up with her.

Welcoming, soothing atmosphere right when I walked in the door, was immediately greeted, shown to comfy seat and within seconds Austin came out to get me. He took time to look at my Pinterest pics and proceeded to do exactly what I asked. I think this is the first time this has happened for me! I typically get some "version" that the stylist must think I would like better. Austin listened and nailed it. The shampoo experience was out of this world- he has magic fingers! Plus, he's fun, quirky and cute as a button. Loved my first visit to Planet Salon!

Yesterday was my first time visiting Planet Salon and Spa. Angela was amazing. I love my new haircut and color. Will definitely be back.

I took my daughter here for a last minute simple haircut. I called and was scheduled for an appointment hour later. The stylist was friendly and did a great job. He treated my 10 year old with the same great service a grown up would get for a kids haircut. We were very impressed. The cut is perfect and beautiful.

They didn't listen to what I wanted. I was clear and they didn't care. I won't be going back. And for how insanely overpriced it is? No thanks

Raise your hand if you are insanely picky about your hair - ! I'm so picky, in fact, that I have rarely gone to the same place twice because I have never been happy with the results. All that changed when I started seeing Angela at Planet Salon. Not only have I gone back multiple times, I trust her enough that I let her talk me into some highlights.

I will be going to her at Planet as long as she will have me. She is a pleasure to talk to and really listens to what you want. The salon itself is clean and modern. I like the products they use and offer. I have also gotten my eyebrows waxed at planet and I was very happy with those results as well.

Cancelled massage blaming a glitch in their system. I had booked it on line but called on Tuesday to confirm the appointment. Today I got this voicemail."you are scheduled to have a massage with us at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning and it looks like you book that appointment online and for some reason um and must be a glitch on our system it there's a scheduling conflict uh that massage therapist doesn't start her day actually until 11 o'clock but we do have some openings tomorrow if you would be willing to change your time we could get you in at 12:45 or we could get you in at 5:15 tomorrow evening um either one of those if they work for you that would be great I do apologize for any inconvenience uh please just give us a call back at 859-519-2100 and we will get this taken care of for you thanks." Very disappointing.

Dylan Woods gave my hair the absolute boost it needed at my visit here. Came in for a simple trim and he went above and beyond to recommend a cut for my hair to give it volume and movement. Totally in love with it!

I hosted a Mommy-to-be Spa Day for my friend's baby shower at Planet Salon & Spa, and it was absolutely wonderful! Jill, the Spa Manager, worked with me to schedule countless appointments for all of the ladies, and made sure everything was perfect (I really can't say enough good things about Jill). We were allowed to bring in food, champagne (sparkling water for the mommy-to-be), flowers, etc., and pretty much had the spa to ourselves.

The services - from massages and facials to pedicures and waxing - were top-notch. All of the ladies have been raving since the party. A huge thank you to everyone at Planet Salon & Spa for making this such a special event! I can't recommend them highly enough, and I will definitely be back (for spa parties and individual services)!

Came here on short notice before Christmas due to not being able to get in with my stylist. They are close to my work so I thought it would be convenient. They got me in pretty quickly even without an appointment. They got me with a stylist, she did a good job but I didn't realize til after the transaction occurred they didn't tell me the the level of the stylist that was going to assist me, nor did anyone tell me that getting my hair straightened wasn't a part of the "style" I was paying for. I thought it was a decent experience but I definitely thought my experience could have been more upfront.

Veronica is MY GIRL! She is hands down the best colorist I've ever been to -- and I've been to a lot. When I leave town for college, I inevitably end up going to someone new out of convenience and they always ruin my hair. and I come running back to Veronica. I'm a natural brunette, and I've had her do an ombre (numerous times, my favorite), dye me totally blonde, and color correct other stylists mistakes back to my natural brown color.

I am so particular about my hair, and she is the ONLY person I trust to touch it anymore. I've also had Megan tint and style my hair for prom back when I was in high school, and loved it. I've been to other Planet locations and had terrible experiences, but Beaumont really knows what they're doing!
