My daughter had a terrible experience there and was thoroughly embarrassed by Sue. Her and my son were kicked out very rudely because a "child" was sitting there waiting for his sister's hair to be done. He's almost 13 and was minding his own business on his phone when Sue abruptly came over and yelled at my daughter telling her she had to leave or have someone come pick her brother up. She was unnecessarily aggressive and you can bet that we will never ever go there again.

Unfortunately the school does nothing to help you in the long run. As much as I loved my teacher, she was perfect (thanks ash) The office staff just wants your money. I graduated and simply asked for help in regards to moving states and transferring my credits or anything they could do to help me. They told me to pass the NJ exam which I couldn't do as I had two weeks to move.

There email was a joke. Plus the towels they use on clients are worn out, disgusting, and shared with the cos girls. I wasted 11K on a school that couldn't even point me in the right direction of how to go about everything.

First and foremost: this is a SCHOOL. The people providing services are students with all different levels of experience and the hair services will probably take at least twice as long as usual. If you keep those things in mind and set reasonable expectations, things will be fine. But if you're looking for something very specific or generally high maintenance (no shame - I only ever let one person touch my hair even if I look crazy in between cuts) as a person, go to a real salon and pay real-salon prices.

Cheap but risky, expensive but safe - you can't have it both ways, cheap and safe! All that said, my partner and I enjoyed our spa service here and will be coming back for more. We got "back facials" and the students who performed the services were great. Unfortunately, the tables we were lying on did not have holes for our heads. It wasn't comfortable to be lying on our fronts with our heads turned either one way or the other, but that's not the students' fault. Again, we'll be back!

Unfortunately, the office administrators here do not care about you. I was an esthetician student and after graduating I had some questions on the steps to get my license. The office staff were not very helpful and provided little guidance. This resulted in a delay of me receiving my license from the state. The instructors on the other hand were amazing and helped me as much as they could.

I haven't been to a hair salon in over a year due to an effort to save money doing my hair at home. Since I was getting highlights and coming from red hair, it was time for a professional job. I did not want to spend $120+ in a salon and having to deal with my mom's haircuttery stylist's limited hours. I was nervous about having my hair done by a beauty school, and I left with all my fears debunked!

Great customer service and communication. The student, Emmie, did an amazing job with my highlights that was even better than the professional salons I have been to. She took her time and sought the help of the instructor and other students as needed. The instructor gave excellent guidance on what to do throughout the process and supervised appropriately.

Price was $49 for a full foil (about 100 foils) and toner, so more than 50% cheaper than most salons. One caveat is it did take almost twice as long as a salon would have, but this was expected because it is a school and this was my very first time here. However, at least this allows them to take their time and reduce the likelihood of needing to come back. Perfect if you have the time but not the money. Also please note you have to go for a patch test at least 24 hours before a chemical service.

This is a great school and clients who are being seen with students are there to get a service and for the students to practice on. Remember they are practicing! The previews are inexpensive for that reason. If your going to be super picky than find a licensed stylist. I've been here many times for facials and blow outs and love it!

I have been using your services for years. My friend is a teacher and encouraged me to come to give the students the opportunity to service textured hair. A normal session the student has less than a 5% chance of making a mistake due to the attention from the instructors. This time I wasn't as fortunate. A day later my hair looks like it did when I arrived.

The instructor consulted after the touchup and never came back. Courtney used a rat tail comb to detangle my wet hair causing breakage and hair loss. She later blow dried my hair and never used the flat irons rushing to leave at 4:30. My bill was doubled without explanation. I have never used two applications of color and was surprised at checkout. I am very disappointed

My daughter is a student at this school. I am more than disappointed with the way this shut down situation is being handled. The students are unable to finish the clinic portion of this program but are being required to pay tuition in full. It is my opinion that the owners of this school do not care at all about the students. Their only concern is their own wallets.

No option was given to complete clinic. If these kids can't get the full benefit that every other past student received, Partial tuition should be reimbursed! I would not recommend this school by any means!

I scheduled a facial today at the school. My appointment was for 1 15. I arrived early about 1. Probably 10 people arrived later. Almost all people were taken back about 1 25 except me and another individual that arrived right after me. At 1 30 after asking if I was forgotten taken back. After about another 10 minutes and being the only one sitting there (25 minutes after scheduled) I walked out and really didn't seem to matter to anyone.

This is supposed to be a relaxing experience even if in the school. It was anything but SO did my folder get placed at the bottom of pile or assigned to an individual that never came out

Great service from the students! Used a groupon for a conditioning treatment and blow out; I am super impressed with the results. The appointment was long for a blowout but worth the cost and time. If you have time and want to save money, I highly recommend the student services. The students are never acting without assistance and guidance from their instructors so you will get what you want just takes time!

Best choice I made going to this school. One of the greatest experiences I've had. I also want to make clear that these are students with permits. They are not professionals yet but are learning. People are going there knowing these are students with help of teachers and are getting discounted prices compared to a normal salon. Cut the students some slack and quit criticizing them so hard. They are learning and doing their best.

Great haircuts at an unbelievably low price! I have my hair trimmed for $12. And if you use their app, after 10 haircuts, your next one is free! There's teachers guiding the students and helping them along. All of them are very professional and very good at what they do. I highly recommend them.

Nicole was excellent! Didn't feel like I was in a student clinic, once she touched me I immediately felt love, such a caring touch! She also made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She was definitely very attentive to what I needed and just naturally knew what areas that needed help most. Some moments I felt as if she had 10 hands on me at once!

I really loved what she was doing, she did techniques very well and different than I've experienced. Her pressure could not have been more perfect. She will go far in this field. I couldn't be more thankful. The only complaint I have is that customers can't request. This drives me crazy. I do understand each one of them are students who need to practice and I'm sure they all have strengths, however when u finally find someone who just gets you it's such a relief. I will be back though to take my chances. Impressed!

Great school I went for massage therapy in 2006. I also love the spa in Marlton It's by far my favorite place to go for a relaxing massage.

There's really no better deal to get salon quality color at bargain prices. I went and got a root touch up, full highlights and a blow out for only $56 (same thing costs me 180-200 at Ulta) Although the students are "practicing" on you, they get guidance from their instructors, and the instructors also have to sign off on the colors they're going to use, so it's not like you're going to walk out with orange hair.

Unless that's what you want lol. They're also usually very eager to show good work and build their portfolio so they take a lot of time and care getting things right. Which, is a gift and a curse. Do NOT expect to get in and out in anything less than 2 hours. If you're getting color it could be more like 3-4 hours. This is definitely a place to go when you have a day to spend on yourself. I'd recommend going on a weekday exactly at 11 when they open for the quickest trip. Weekends are always a crazy wait.

I am only giving this two stars because I'm happy with how my highlights look. I show up on Thursday to get highlights and am turned away because I have to get a patch test.now I've been getting my hair colored for 10 years. What made it worse is that they didn't even check the patch when I came back on Saturday. I show up for my 10:00 "appointment" and end up waiting over 45 minutes because apparently an appointment doesn't actually guarantee you your time. My student didn't say a word to me the entire 2 hour process; she didn't even attempt to try to sell me products.

I went to Rizzieri Salon for the first time and I had a fabulous experience! Lena was my stylist and she was wonderful! She had great suggestions and was very professional and just fun! This salon also had someone from their massage school offering free 10 minute massages that just put my experience over the top! They offer great service, great products and perks just because.

I would recommend this salon and they give military personal and military family a 50% discount.all I can say is WOW!. Go See them, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Lena and Rizzieri Salon! As a military spouse I appreciate this! I will tell all my friends and I have!

Cant say enough good things about my recent trip. I go often and I love getting my hair highlighted there. It is much cheaper than a salon, but now with Groupon, its not as cheap! LOL. I had Alyssa and she was great. Took her time, gave me a handmassage and my highlights look better than I have ever gotten them done! Sad to see her graduate next month!

Been going here for years. It's a great deal-much cheaper than normal salons for things like color. Honestly a full head of highlights comes out to be about $35. Some things: 1) Students are doing the work. I've never had a problem but several friends won't go because students are touching your hair. For advanced cuts and color, consider a real salon-otherwise you'll be fine. 2) it takes forever. Since students do the work, they're slower.alot slower. My highlights take about four hours.

My facial was 4 star and pedicure was a 1 star. To be fair these are students and you are their guinea pig. When you arrive you will sign a waiver that sums up that in laments terms that even though you're paying a fraction of normal costs you sign up to be an experiment for their education. That's not to say you won't get the best treatment, but it is a 'hey, we warned you' waiver and you need to pay either way.

The best was my 1 hour facial located in the back room, away from the madness of the salon. A simple but calm atmosphere with medium-sized curtained area is the home for wellness services. They use whispering voices and Aveda products to get the spa treatment started. The facial was tranquil and zen-like. Simply put--a sweet deal and the perfect way to put a stressful day at work behind me. I'll definitely be back for a spa service.

The worst was my 1 1/2 hour pedicure that could have been done within 30 minutes. The tub basin's jets did not work so my feet sat in luke warm water the whole time. Although freshly packaged, they barely had any tools available. Apparently the AM students used them all---damn you AM crew! Since no nail cutters are allowed everything had to be filed and when I came home I trimmed them myself.

During our session there was one point I wanted to paint my own toes because my butt had gone numb from sitting there so long. Still, a week later and my pedicure is holding up nicely but the service was torture.

I went there for a cut and color, figuring I have nothing to lose since I've had many a bad haircut in Philadelphia. I went to the Salon, not the school, to improve my chances for an OK cut. The person who colored my hair consulted me every step of the way and made sure I was comfortable with the color. She also cut my hair and took time in doing so. I made an appointment to go back for a color and a trim. PS: you really can't beat the price!
