Hairstylist was so sweet! This definitely isn't the place to go for curly hair though. my stylist didn't account for shrinkage and my hair is so much shorter than I want it to be : i also asked for it to be short in the front and long in the back with a gradual transition but she cut it long in the front and super short in the back haha. She never showed me the back of my hair so I couldn't see until I was in the car and I cried a little bit about it but It's totally fine, I can pull it off!

But make sure to bring a reference photo if you come here! It was also totally my fault for not speaking up about it, I didn't want to hurt her feelings lol. If you're white with straight hair, this is totally the place for you though!

Stephanie was outstanding! I had very damaged hair from anesthesia and it showed! Wanted to get my hair cut and colored but after our consult we decided to do several conditioning/clarifying services instead and a basic cut until my hair is in better shape. Thank you for your great advice! My hair looks and feels amazing and I assure you I will be back when my hair is back to normal

I love Faith. 1000% go to her for any funky colors you want to do.or extentions.or mainstream styles. Faith can do anything, she's amazing.

Holly is amazing--I have very fine hair, and she makes it look like a million bucks. She and her staff are very sweet and friendly, and their COVID precautions are bar none.

I received several bad haircuts here. I shouldn't have gone back. I was also burned during an eyebrow wax - the wax heater had been turned all the way up and the technician didn't test the wax first. It's amateur hour.

Got a gift certificate over a year ago for a facial but they let me use it towards whichever service I wanted. I scheduled an hour exfoliating body massage. This place is very nicely decorated when you first walk in. The spa services are upstairs where there is another nicely decorated waiting room. My massage was done by Siani. It was by far one of the best massages I have ever had.

I have never had an exfoliating massage was not sure what to expect but loved it! I will now only have this type of massage and probably only here. I thought for sure when I was done I accidently booked a 2 hour massage. It was actually an hour and a half and only 95.00 because of a special. I loved this place and will be back for sure!

If gracious manners, respect, cleanliness, and professional treatment describes your ideal salon experience- this is it. It wasn't easy sifting through the sloppy, standard-slacking other salons within the small area of Greenville - but this Salon is a real gem.

I have been to this salon three times and love it! I had Jill and today had Cara. I have struggled in the past to find a good person that can do professional looking highlights and a great bob cut with minimal maintenance. I don't have much time, so the online booking helps a lot. All of the staff is very friendly and greets me with a smile at each visit. I am offered a beverage and wait in the lounge area. I don't wait long before my stylist escorts me back. My hair looks wonderful and I will definitely be back.

I am new to the Wilmington area and have been very hesitant to find a new hair salon. After seeing Salon 828's reviews and a recommendation from a friend, I decided to give it a try! And I am very glad that I did! The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is very cozy yet professional. Even more importantly, I was very impressed by my hair stylist, Jill.

She listened to the description of how I wanted my hair cut, made a couple of suggestions and delivered a great haircut and service. I will definitely be going back and recommend Salon 828 to anyone!

I came here for my first ever manicure last weekend. I was told by my wedding photographer that it would be a good idea to have this done. Like most men, I was very skeptical, and not really excited to do this. I have to say, it was an amazing experience. My nails have never looked so clean. I will definitely come back a couple times a year to have this done again. If you go, ask for Kristen. She did an excellent job!

I received a haircut from Stephanie. She was very sweet and welcoming. However I'm less than pleased with my haircut. I wanted a bit of a drastic cut, cutting at least 6 inches. I brought a picture of the hairstyle I wanted and she quickly glanced at it, saying she knew what I wanted. I wish she had looked at it longer because ultimately my cut is far from what I'd hoped. There are barely any layers and the length is shorter than I wanted.

I wish I could echo the positive sentiments of others, but I had my hair cut by Holly last week and, honestly, it was the worst haircut I've ever had. My hair is wavy/curly and temperamental with several cowlicks, but it also is forgiving of many cut mistakes. Not this time. It did not look good when Holly finished styling it, and it is only slightly better with me styling it. Based upon others' reviews, I really hoped that Holly would give me a great haircut as she has done for others.

My hair is short, much shorter than some of the other reviewers judging from their photos, and layered; perhaps that was the problem since that takes different cutting techniques. I just know that Holly believed that she knew better than I how my hair would respond, and she had only worked with it once before. So, if anyone reading this knows a good hairstylist for short, layered, curly hair, please share with me that person's name and salon.

Great place. A little tricky to find- but I had a great experience here. My hairdresser was friendly and chatty (my type of hairdresser!) and she cut my hair exactly like I described- even though my description was terrible- she did a great job.

Love this salon! Kate does a great job coloring and styling my hair. She takes her time to make sure it is done right and is very professional. In addition, I scheduled an appointment for 10:30 on a Saturday. About 4 days before my appointment, they called and asked if I could come a half hour later because they knew the client before me would take longer and didn't want me to sit and wait. So considerate and responsible! Definitely a plus. I would recommend this salon to anyone! Totally worth it.

Holly has been cutting and coloring my hair for nearly 15 years. She's the best! Salon 828 is aesthetically gorgeous and has a nice, comfortable groove. No snobs here!

As others have noted, it's the friendliness you experience at Salon 828 that sets it apart. Zero attitude and everyone always remembers and seems genuinely glad to see you! It feels like a big happy family. I love coming here after a stressful day at the office - it feels pampering rather than just another appointment to accomplish. Great magazines plus drinks and treats, and the Keratase hair products smell divine. Love the spa-like decor.

BEST SALON EVER! As soon as I walked in I was happily greeted and instantly offered something to drink (there was even a choice between lemon water AND regular water!). I was taken back a few minutes later and my stylist consulted with me. She recommended a cut that would be perfect for my face, and it was the best haircut I have ever received! This salon ROCKS :)
