I've been going to Patrick for years and totally disagree with the posted negative review. Patrick has been able to prepare the exact color that I wanted (reddish blond as when I was a kid) and he's been able to take my fine hair and cut it so it has more body. He always has suggestions how to better care for my hair. Also, he has traveled all over the world and one feels like having been there after hearing his descriptions and seeing his excellent photographs. I highly recommend Patrick.

Overall terrible experience. This was an older man playing beauty parlor who didn't know what the heck he was doing. First when he did the buzzed part of my hair, he did that wet which made it difficult to do and made the hair stick everywhere even worse (and he missed parts which I had to fix with the buzzer at home). He dug the cutters into my head painfully, after I told him I had a sensitive scalp.
He then also dug the comb in my head and pulled hard on large chunks of hair to cut them instead of sectioning my hair in lines or smaller areas to ensure greater accuracy. He cut an 'M' shape on my back hairline without even asking me. Also repeatedly asked me to remind him what I wanted cut-wise like he couldn't keep the thought in his head.
And the greatest sin, in my opinion, is the fact that I have coarse textured hair and he used a razor on it, which you don't do! On coarse hair it just makes the hair end split and fluff. As soon as he started using it I told him to not use it on the front at all and he got huffy with me and said he wasn't going to. The whole thing was awful, it wasn't comfortable at all and at no time did he make me feel like he actually knew what he was doing.
He charged me $41 for this hack haircut that I'm going to have to pay someone else to fix. I should have listened to my gut and stopped it at the first wrong thing, but I really needed a cut and was hoping that I was wrong and wanted to give this local business the benefit of the doubt. But I wish I hadn't because going to this place was a mistake and I absolutely would warn others away.
