Francesca is amazing! She has been giving my daughter the Devacurl cut for a few years now and we could not be happier. She is truly and artist and knows how to handle curls perfectly. Everyone on the staff is friendly and inviting and we always have such a pleasant experience. If you have curly hair I would definitely recommend coming here.

The team at Strandz salon is amazing. They take the time to know every person.and really work with you to come up with a hair style and color that will be easy to maintain. My daughter has been using Christine for years, I've been using someone else and finally decided to try her out myself. She's awesome. So friendly so knowledgeable, she will be doing my hair coloring and eventually some haircutting. She's been in the business a very long time is young, hip, understand hair and color, and Strandz is such a beautiful Anthony salon

Strandz is more than 5 stars! Valerie does my hair and she is absolutely AMAZING! She spends so much time making sure she gives you exactly what you want, she's patient, personable, and she does an incredible job! Her coloring and hair cuts are always on point and she really takes the time to make sure your happy. Kay also does an incredible job and everyone at the salon is overall so friendly and welcoming! HIGHLY highly recommend Strandz!

First time coming to this salon as I moved out east and looked forever for a salon and stylist I can "click" with. Well I found one! I went in for a balayage & hair cut and left so happy with the results. Very impressed with my stylist work. She takes immense pride in what she does and the results show. Kaylyn was my stylist. She was personable, knowledgable and asked questions.

It's was a wonderful experience, a comfortable atmosphere all around. The ladies from the front desk to the young lady that washes hair were wonderful! And if you are looking I would highly recommend you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful experience! Francesca gave me my first Devacurl cut and style, it was the perfect topping moment for my first year embracing my curls using the curly girl method. MY own hair was so beautiful I was emotional and so close to tears. Francesca is truly an artist and an expert at what she does, it like she was reading my mind! Never in my life has my hair been treated with the care and appreciation that it deserves. I WILL return and I recommend her to anyone wherever you are in your curly girl journey.

I have been seeing Kaylyn for my hair for over 2 years now and she never disappoints. Kaylyn makes the experience a personable one and has made me feel like I am with a friend at the salon getting my hair done, what more can I ask for? The entire process with Kay is seamless and always turns out beautiful, she is the color and blow out queen! Kay is always putting me on to the best products for my hair and directing me on how to use them properly.

I come to her all the way from Port Jefferson and I never dread the ride there because I know I will always walk out happy with what she has done! My hair has never looked so shiny and stylish, I totally recommend Kaylyn for any of your hair desires!

I called last week for a balayage & hair cut and was put on a stand-by list. I had not visited this salon before so I was nervous that the stand-by list would be a bust. I received a call a few days later that there was a cancellation and I was able to get the perfect appointment time for my schedule. Francesca was my stylist. I was very impressed during my appointment with them.

They gave me time to explain what I wanted and transformed my brassy hair color to a warm balayage. I'm happy with the color and cut results. Francesca answered my questions about hair care and was personable and knowledgeable. The five star review is well deserved, thank you!

Brand new to the area and was on the lookout for my new spot. Came in for a big cut and had a fun experience for such a big change. The staff and stylists are very warm and fun, which i so appreciated in a salon! But i think the experience itself was better than the quality of the cut. I didnt notice the areas that could've used correcting while i was there and wound up going somewhere else about a week later to even things out, add more layers and take the heaviness off the ends. Nothing against the stylist, she was great! Just a little bit more of a precision cut is what i was looking for.

Can't thank Christine enough for the amazing haircut. She took her time and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. Ask for Christine.you won't be disappointed!

It was my first time here and I got a full head of highlights with Chelsea. I wasn't thrilled with how it came out but it definitely looked better than before. Prices are reasonable and most of the staff seemed pleasant. However I'm taking off 2 stars because I was charged 3$ extra which I'm assuming is because I used a charge card which I was not notified about. Plus I feel that they should've had some sort of special being that I was a new customer.

Had a great visit with Chelsea. Felt safe with Covid precautions- you text when you arrive and they tell you when you can come in, everyone wears masks etc. Chelsea is quick and efficient and listens to what you want.

Val was absolutely amazing I would recommend her or the salon to anyone! She did such an amazing job on my hair I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did it so much better than what I showed her. She's so sweet and really strived to make my hair look beautiful

I had an event. I am also growing long hair. I had no idea what to do this hair so I reached out to Standz Hair Salon. My appt was with Liz. I had never been to Strandz but trusted the reviews. Well Liz had me come in a few days earlier, ahead of my appt to look at my hair. It seemed OK, we moved ahead. Well, I sat in her chair for an hour. Liz was very busy behind me.

I had no idea what she did till she held up a mirror. My hair was gathered at the nape of my neck, off my face. She wove a beautiful design that lasted till the next day. I had no idea my hair could look so lovely. Thank you Liz! You have talented hands!

First off, I never write reviews but after my visit today @ Strandz, I felt compelled to write my 1st one. I have not always had the best luck with hairdressers & desperately needed a new look but have been reluctant to try a salon for a while. My awesome mom got me a gift certificate for my birthday and told me that Samantha was the best (and boy was she right).

I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with the results! Sam is beyond amazing and so sweet. She instantly knew what I wanted and worked her magic to bring life to my dull hair. My hair has never looked better! I feel so confident and sexy with my new look. She is truly one of a kind and so talented. If you're looking for a new hair dresser definitely ask for Sam. Trust me when I say that you won't regret it.

Shannon is a genius and basically a clairvoyant of what hair cut and color will make you look your best. My husband is OBSESSED with my new hair. I've never had so many compliments - I actually have terribly thin hair that she made look thick - or people telling me I look so young. She'll already know what you want and need before you sit in your chair. Go see her, she's probably waiting with your colors already mixed and perfect cut in mind.

I have been going to Strandz for many years now and it is top notch service. Everyone there is friendly and professional and you will feel very welcomed. Fran has been doing my color and cuts forever and I would not go anywhere else! I even have my husband going for his haircuts.

I was looking for a new, local salon, and called Strandz on a wim. I was definitely unsure what I wanted/needed, and was probably annoying to talk to at first being so wishy-washy! Both the lady who answered the phone and the stylist, Liz, were patient and helpful, and didn't make me feel like my indecisiveness was a burden. Liz did exactly what I asked, took her time, and is an overall lovely person. Love the end result and will definitely be back. I'll be recommending Strandz to others as well.

Was greeted the moment I walked into this chic little salon. Samantha was great- listened to everything I wanted and was quick and efficient!

Erin styled my daughter's hair for Prom and did a magnificent job! My daughter has heavy, extremely long locks with some waviness. Erin was able to create an elegant evening style without any cutting. My daughter looked lovely on her special night.

I had to write a review after coming here. I have been looking for a decent hair place ever since I have moved to Long Island and I finally found it here! I had Liz cut and color my hair, first of all she is very sweet and very knowledgeable about hair. I brought a picture of what I wanted color and cut wise and she nailed it. It looked exactly like the picture and was exactly what I wanted.

The service was great there, their secretary constantly checks up on you asking if you want something to drink and if you are comfortable. To top it off it was VERY affordable! I was expecting to pay double of what I was charged. Exceptional quality for the price. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and definitely will be coming back!

Way too over priced for the skills and atmosphere offered. They price as if they are a high end boutique salon which couldn't be farther from the truth! Although the staff is very nice, I can't get past the fact that they basically rob their customers.

After years of never going to the same salon more than once, I keep coming back to Strandz. I love Fran, who actually knows how to cut hair like mine (full head but thin strands and LONG) and takes extra time after I'm dry to razor my layers so they don't fall heavily like other stylists make them. The staff is super nice and the place is very clean, although they could use a little updating of the decor. Overall it's a great salon with happy, talented staff and at a very reasonable price.

Just came back from getting my hair cut at Strandz. Liz did an excellent job! I was nervous about trying a new shop and stylist. I have traveled to Woodbury and Great Neck for years to get my hair done. So happy that someone recommended Liz! I will be back!
