Yesterday I had an appointment with a hair stylist to color my hair. She couldn't make the appointment and wanted to reschedule. I declined and called Kim's Hair Studio to see if I could get in. Kim was able to get me in the same day and this was with the help of her mom you took my initial call. Thanks, MOM! : This was meant to be. I not only found my fairy godmother hair stylist but a new friend! I highly recommend Kim and I referred a few of friends.

Kim has been my mom's hair stylist for decades, and was mine as well for a number of years until I moved out of state. Long story short, I had no choice but to go to a new hairstylist where I live to touch up my highlights the day before I was heading back to Chicago for my wedding. Due to a few different factors, the color got totally messed up. I didn't feel like myself which is the worst thing to feel 4 days before your wedding!

I was out of time to go back to that salon to get it fixed, so that same evening I texted Kim to explain my situation hoping that she had an opening to help. She was able to get me in the day after I got to Chicago and was so reassuring that it would be an easy fix. I sent her pictures of what I currently looked like and what I was hoping I would look like once all was said and done, and she knew exactly what she was going to do.

When I saw the final product of her fix I almost cried in relief. She did such an amazing job! I will always be so grateful to Kim for helping me feel like myself again before one of the most important days of my life. I wish I lived in Chicago so she could still be my hairstylist!

I've been going to see Kim for 15 years. Always a quality haircut, style, etc. Location is easy to get to. Place is warm and inviting. Always accommodates my busy schedule

So I just moved to the area and decided to try a new salon. I walked in looking for a touch up and cut. I spoke with the owner Kim and she seemed nice, but when things got started I could tell things weren't going well. Halfway through my hair looked two toned with super bright roots and dull ends. Then I got put under the dryer with my foils on which made it worse.

I have sandy blond hair and wanted a touch up and highlights. How hard is it to manage that? I've never had an issue anywhere else before. When I confronted her about this she became agitated and defensive. I'm the customer and I wasn't happy with my hair but she was only concerned with me paying and getting me out the door so she could service another client. Needless to say I had to have it fixed at another salon in the area and I will never be back here. I don't recommend it unless you are ok with attitude and sub par hair skills.

I searched, I called, & I got an appointment on the same day, it was awesome! Kim is amazing. I cant say thank you enough for her skill and respect of my goofy trepidations about my long hair and fear of haircuts. A+

They fit me in last minute for a blow dry and style. Leanne did an amazing job on my hair and was super friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back but I live in the city!
