Maria and Dena, inseparable sisters, started their journey in the beauty industry together. In 2005, they followed their dreams and opened Volume Salon. Located in uptown Charlotte, it has quickly become one of the best salons in the city. What sets Volume apart is the focus on education and techniques. They don't believe in cookie cutter haircuts--they believe in listening to each of their customers and applying their skills to give each person what they need and want.

Their stylists have been trained by some of the best hair artists at Vidal Sassoon, Bumble and bumble, Beth Minardi, Wella, and others, so at Volume, you will be in good hands.

I am the owner of Volume Salon and have been a stylist since 2001. After working at different salons, my sister and I decided to chase the American dream and open our very own salon (after all, we're Greek and required by law to own a business). In addition to the day to day, I work hard to hone my skills and further my knowledge of the latest styles and techniques.

I have been lucky enough during my years of being a stylist to have had education from many very talented stylists. I have a passion for making people feel great, outside as well as from within.
