In 1987, when Wendy Smith took over an old-school beauty parlor in Park Slope, her multicultural background inspired her to create a salon that would cater to all hair textures. I just got my crazy moody curly hair done by Wendy, this was my first time with her, and she was amazing. I felt so comfortable with her. She really took the time to speak with me about my hair and caring for it. Anytime a friend asks for a salon recommendation, they are the first place I suggest. Also Salon Bohemia provides great high quality service for a reasonable price.

A Brooklyn-born, Park Slope native, Wendy has had a passion for art and an eye for style since childhood. She attended New York's High-School of Art and Design, and earned her degree in Fashion Illustration at The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). At FIT, Wendy's professors always acknowledged her eye for balance and color.

Our intent is for each customer's satisfaction. We will gladly adjust any service you receive within Seven days of your service. If you are not satisfied with the work performed, we require that you return to the salon so that your hair can be visually inspected. At that time, we will make every effort to correct any problems to your satisfaction by rescheduling you with an available stylist preferably the one who performed the initial service, at no additional charge to you.
