SYMMETRY HAIR DESIGN was born about 11 years ago at a studio in a historic building in Downtown Kalamazoo. The salon studio was carefully, creatively, and lovingly renovated and designed by myself, Misty Blake.

SYMMETRY HAIR DESIGN uses only the finest quality haircare products, such as; Biolage, Rusk, Matrix and Matrix So Color and Color Sync (non amonia) hair color. I specialize in hair color. I have been working with Matrix Color Sync since it's inception and am thrilled with the superior results! As a makeup artist, I studied at the prestigious Westmore Academy in Burbank California, and I have only superior products in my professional kit, such as; Makeup Forever, Research Council For Makeup Artists, Temptu, Ben Nye, Wolfe Brothers and Kryolin to name a few.
