I have been seeing hair care through this location for a year. The last time I went for color touch up- the color placed on my hair burnt my scalp terribly. I have since had itchy scalp now for weeks. I will not be returning to the salon. There is no reason for color to burn so much. And if it is that toxic- I sure do not want it on my head. No thanks and Aveda Gila Rut. You have lost my business. Jean Barke

I came in with long, flat, and boring hair. Andre did a great job transforming my hair with lots of layers and face framing bangs. My hair feels lighter, and appears to have more volume and texture from the layers. I also love the bangs he created to help frame my face. It was pricy at $105 (minus gratuity), but well worth it! I also like that they don't try to upsell their Aveda products. Thank you, Andre!

My colorist Emily is a professional and I've been seeing her for years. I've been a client there for years and through Covid supported them. I always book my appointments a month ahead because I can only do specific times and don't live near the salon. The problem I have is with the receptionist who called me the day before my appointment and told me they have to cancel my appointment because of an educational day.
She apologized but was passive aggressive about the cancellation and my own inconvenience. In the past I have been very accommodating to their cancellations even though if it were the other way around I would have to pay a fine. There is very little regard at this salon for client loyalty and communication needs to be addressed by management. It is for this reason I'm not coming back. There are many many salons in San Diego.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality Andre was great! Turned my straw like hair into a piece of art! The color specialist Bekah did a 3/4 highlight and gloss on me.
