I had color and haircut Wed 5/11 - first time for color which was basically to touch up roots and then pull color thru rest of hair. I have very short and very thick hair which stylist commented on. I was surprised that she had to make additional dye. This has never happend before. I was more surprised to find out I was charged extra $30 for the additional dye. I would love to return to your beautiful salon but dont know if i will. Gen K

Let me start off by saying that the employees and owner are absolutely wonderful, pleasant, and kind people. I'd caution if you are mixed, or have ethnic hair to choose a different salon because I'm not too sure that this particular staff is equipped to deal with such different hair. My stylist told me that a keratin express treatment would not work on my hair and that I'd see no difference and to just do a full keratin treatment.

Her price quote for the EXPRESS was $323 due to needing more product because I had a lot of hair. and that the full treatment would be $475. Please keep in mind that my hair is shoulder length, and wavy/curly just ethnic because I'm mixed. She then informed me that I'd need to purchase their specific shampoo and conditioner for the full keratin treatment. I feel that I did extensive research on the keratin express because I wanted to make sure that my hair would be receptive of it's benefits before committing but charging over double the basic price of an express treatment was just too much. Since coming to this salon, my hair quality has increasingly declined and this place was just not for me.

I had an appointment with Emily yesterday. I challenged her with my pandemic hair, which I had been coloring myself at home. She took on the challenge with confidence and the results were beyond my expectations. It looks natural, fresh and so pretty. It is the exact color that I described. Emily is a color magician! I recently had my hair done at Main Street Salon. The staff were very pleasant and I had a very nice experience, besides the fact that my hair barley looks like I had it done. I had never before been told I wasn't getting a blow out. Which was fine with me cause my hair is naturally curly and this time I sort of wanted to see the results with my natural look. What I failed to realize is by not sitting back in the stylists chair I was not seeing the end result until I got back into my car. It's a shame that I wasted my money and will now have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. But again like I said the people were nice and during my appointment it was a pleasant experience.

I've been going here for several years. They are all so friendly and excellent at their work. They are very kind and encouraging, as it's neat to develop a friendship with your stylist. They are also very generous, having collections and raffles, etc. to give to charities. And the owner is willing to hire young start-ups who are in cosmetic school, and she guides them and trains them along the way.

I've had various stylists from there over the years, and each one was excellent. Plus, the owner even sent a stylist to my house one time when I was too sick to go to the salon! I can't wait to get back after this long COVID break!
