This past Friday I went to ahead of hair for the first time because my hair stylist Erin switched hair salons. I loved the atmosphere of the salon and how welcoming it was. Erin is literally amazing with hair and she is also so personable. I followed her from her old salon because I value her so much as a hair stylist and person! Erin - you are the best my dear!

I went to this salon yesterday for full highlights. First off, the color is not what I asked for, but it doesn't look bad. I was just wanting a more natural, sun-kissed blonde and instead I have more bleached/platinum blonde. Second, when I called to make the appointment, I was quoted $86 with an apprentice level stylist. However, when I went to go check out it was $133. I spoke up and they waived the wash and dry fee, but it was still $113 + tip. I really wish when I called and asked for a quote they told me the actual total so I was not surprised by the "hidden" fees. Not sure I will go back.

Sarah is amazing. So kind and caring, always makes coming to AOH a treat I look forward to. Great pricing, too! I have extremely long hair (waist length) and have never paid more than $50, with a fantastic stylist. So grateful for this spot, I almost wish I could keep this gem secretly hidden away lol.

I was looking for a new hair stylist because mine was no longer available. I had tried two other stylists who could not get my hair in the same style that I have been used to for the last 21 years. I asked for someone who could deal with hair with different problems like cowlicks and such. I was set up with Amy who was absolutely terrific! She took one look at my hair after I showed her a few old pictures and she saw my problem areas and knew exactly what to do!

I was so very very happy with the result. I still need to let it grow a little bit and have it cut again to get it exactly back (because there were several mistakes by previous stylists) but I am over the moon happy about finding Amy! THANKS Amy!

I've been coming to Ahead of Hair for years. I keep trying other places, and they just don't stack up to Ahead of Hair! They work well with my price range, and have dealt quite well with my wavy/curly hair. The stylists are all knowledgeable, professional, and talented. They know what they are doing!
