Hi, My name is Lee Ortivez. I have 3 wonderful children named Hannah, Christian, and Che, and two new additions, grandsons, Jayden Lee and Gabriel. I have been a professional hairdresser for 34 years, beginning in high school. I am licensed cosmetology instructor, I worked for Scot Lewis Paul Mitchell Partner school in 2009 while owning and operating Salon Che Salon and Day Spa, located in historic downtown Nampa. During that time I was a TIGI Ambassador giving frequent product knowledge classes at the surrounding schools and salons.

Absolutely amazing. I have nothing, but positive things to say about Salon Che and Lee. It was easy to schedule an appointment, the Salon is beautiful inside and out, and Lee is amazing. He is such an awesome person, has a wonderful sense of humor, is so easy to talk to, and is fabulous at cutting hair. I will definitely be coming back to him. There is a reason why Salon Che has such a great google review score- Lee was fantastic- I don't think I could have got a more perfect outcome for what I wanted! I really appreciated that he talked with me a lot in the beginning and really helped me understand what he thought I needed and what would help. I went from this chunky, uneven and super "flat" hair to voluptuous, well rounded and beautifully colored hair (as you can see in the pics- too embarrassed to post before pictures).

I also really liked the atmosphere- very homey and personal. I just feel like I got a perfect experience and am extremely grateful- it's important to be happy with your hair and I am crazy happy with mine!

Lee did such an amazing job with my hair! I was so nervous getting it done as it had been nearly a year since the last time I had it cut and colored. He was able to look at pictures of the color I wanted create it from two he had on hand, and the cut is super cute! Will definitely be back. So glad I found someone I can trust and feel comfortable with. I also really enjoyed talking with him throughout the appointment. Such a neat person and truly cares about his clients.

I'm very very picky with my hair! I had 2 years of not cutting my hair for the same reason! And had trouble with trusting people to cut it! I recently moved here and I was in a need of a new look and hair cut my sister in law recommended this place I said ok let's try it out you cut it first so I can see how he works! And then when it was my turn and I saw the finished results OMG! I Love my hair even more! He did and AMAZING! Job! I would come back and recommend this place to who ever needs his hair products are amazing as well!
